I used to. My Husband has a very large Family, and I do not. My Mom lives a good ways from here so We would spend Thanksgiving with His Family. Even though They were nice, they weren't My Family, well at least while We were dating. I would go outside and cry some silent tears, where no one knew. Now I have different reasons for feeling alone, I lost my only sibling, a Brother December 29, 2003 to cancer, my best Friend died four days later on January 2, 2004. I miss them always. So I can understand being surrounded by People and still feelings alone. It is so hard when You try to mention Them, and You hear a collective Awwww echo around the room. Everyone needs to understand that it is o.k. to talk about lost Loved Ones.

Happy Holidays and God Bless.....

NO, I have been known to feel alone rather it is a holiday or not crowd or not. It is all about the person inside, When you can have fun and enjoy life w/self then One will never belone and as long as you have a relationship w/God, You will never be a lone nor feel this way. Take care and know that You are Special because of that you are not alone.

Kind of. The holidays make me feel warm with all the decorations, music, and such, but it also makes me feel a bit lonely. I don't have much family around where I live, so I only celebrate the holidays with my immediate family. My friends all have their own celebrations with their families, so that makes me feel a little bit lonely since I'm not able to do anything with them around Christmas time.

Lonliness is a painful condition. Been there. Don't want to visit again. I was alone this morning for several hours and called Auntie and Unc and visited since we hadn't talked since July. They have a big nearly 9lb greatgrandson yesterday. Then I called a woman that I can't remember when I didn't know her. It made it much easier to get my mind of painful family loss. Doni

i think the subject with the Muslim faith, like many faiths, is this is amazingly patriarchal so he maximum in all probability would be controling of you, inspite of the undeniable fact that of direction there are exeptions to the guideline. i'm getting the impact which you're no longer a Muslim so dont hassle approximately no longer appearing in accordance to his traditions. Its ultimate you leave him as of course it isnt healthful and there is not any choose so which you could experience responsible as he could have respected which you're from a diverse way of existence. anticipating you to cover your self is what Muslim women folk are predicted to do inspite of the undeniable fact that it is going to likely be your determination regardless of in case you are trying this or no longer.

yes. I feel depressed during the holidays. I find myself drinking more even though I don't normally have a heavy drinking habit. Also I am more irritable and don't sleep as well.
