Knowing that last year the mother doubled the age of her daugther,
the age of both the mother and the daughter is a prime number and
the age of the mother is the inverse of the age of the daughter
What is the age of each one?

He’s turning 13 a few days after X-mas. He was raised by a single mother and he doesn’t like the typical boy stuff like sports. He plays video games, but I’ve already done the game thing too many times and his mom doesn’t allow violent ones. Any other suggestions?

I have to admit I am terrible at buying gifts for other people, mostly I tend to buy Gift certificates for people I buy for.But unfortunately at our Christmas exchange at work they do not want people buying gift certificate.
So what we do is pick a name out of a hat and buy a gift for that person. The person I got this year is my immediate Boss who is a female and we have a 15 dollar limit ,anyone have any ideas of a good gift.

I found these little slips where you can send a person's name and address and they'll send them a personalized letter from Santa. I thought it would be kind of cute to send my friends letters, even though we don't belive in Santa. Is this a good idea? Also, you can choose between a childrens letter or an adult letter. We're 14 - which should I send them?

As horrible as this sounds, I'm stuck on a gift for my boyfriend. I'm trying to find sometihng to keep with a James Bond government agent kind of thing(a bit of an inside joke) but I'm completely stuck on what would be a good idea. Any ideas or websites with stuff would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

We take turns each year as to who gets a big gift. It s looking like I`m spending $300 on him. Do you think this is too much, what do you spend on your partners and what sort of gifts do u get them?

I was wondering why Christmas is a national holiday. I think we all can agree that Christmas celebrates the birth of Christ which is clearly related to a specific religion. If our government follows the separation of church and state policy, then how do they reconcile this? Is it a national holiday because the majority of the country is Christian and therefore would not come to work/school on Dec 25 so it's just easier to close? Just wondering what others think?

I'm just throwing this out there because I'm curious about what other people think. Do you set a limit (dollar amount) for how much you spend on each of your kids? If so, how much and how do you decide? I have a four-year-old and a four-month-old, and I know it's only going to get worse as they get older. I don't feel like I've bought them very much this year, but it seems like the money adds up quickly. Thanks for your input!
