I think it's a great idea and, as someone else has mentioned, very unique. Assuming that the letter writers do a good job, no one will forget this gift nor you either. No matter their reaction when they get their letter, it will be all in good, memorable fun.
When you order the letters, I'd make note of the ages involved--as a "tweener", you guys are not really kids anymore, but you're not quite adults yet. This may help them write better, more appropriate letters for your age range. Have fun.

If you have a chance to see the types of letters they would send I would say read them first...if not then I would stick to what kinda friends you have....do they still like toys, dressing up, playing stuff like that or are they more into books, movies, computers, stuff like that....I think the letter from Santa is a good idea.

Yes, I personally think its a wonderful idea. It will not be a bad idea for us to be more creative in the way that we exchange gifts on an annual celebration like Christmas.
What matter here is not what you give them but the heart, your beautiful wonderful intension. Morestill, if your friends are kids, send them children's letter and if adult, send them adult's letter. Thanks and I hope this might help.

2007 has been a very undesirable 12 months financially. We have been no longer able to purchase any presents for all of us, which incorporate my toddlers (a while 12, sixteen & 17). yet I would desire to assert that I did get carry of the terrific present interior the international, and that's the affection of my family individuals, acquaintances AND my toddlers. quite everyone has been so awareness! To be "honest" we tried to enable quite everyone understand that we could be no longer able to purchase presents this 12 months. quite everyone replaced into awareness, and according to probability the main magnificent factor is that my toddlers have been extra desirable than awareness as nicely. We spent Christmas day at the same time only speaking, ingesting, playing video games and having an excellent time. What extra effective present would desire to somebody ask for?

I think that's a cute gift for your friends. I would guess that the kid letter would be for little kids who still believe in Santa. Even though you don't believe anymore, that would probably be the way to go. If your friends share the same attutude about it that you do, they should love it.
