We take turns each year as to who gets a big gift. It s looking like I`m spending $300 on him. Do you think this is too much, what do you spend on your partners and what sort of gifts do u get them?

Listen, when you got one life to live get, buy, do, go all the way. Make payments if you have to but do it right. You never know when it will be the last.

I think you should buy for the children first.Try to get them each the one thing they want the most and if the $$ allows then the $300 is only money. I'm sure he works hard too! He deserves priceless happiness. Merry Christmas and God Bless!

We can never put a price tag on love. I know that material things are good but above all, time (quality time spent together) can also be one of the greatest gift that you can give to each other because whatever we give are being given in time and out of time.

Remember the sayings, 'time is precious', 'time is money' etc.

This year I am spending more than usual, as she is getting an 80GB i-Pod Video. I will also get her a $50 i-Tunes card. This will be around $500.

300 isnt much at all. how long have you guys been dating? i spend around 500-700 on mines. but this year i might be lucky enough not to have one
