Every year for Halloween I dress my boys up in costumes that go together. One year I did fire fighter and dalmation. I've done Thing 1 and Thing 2. I know it may sound corny but they are still to young to argue with me. They are 4 and 6. Any suggestions?

I am on a committee at my office that will decide on a theme for a party for the 200+ people that work for my company and their guests. The party will be held in a large room at a local church, so no alcohol is allowed. Last year we did a Fiesta Theme which was fun, but I think it would fun to do something else this year. We do way too much with BBQ, hamburgers, and hotdogs too. So I'm hoping to get an idea that has some more elegance in it this time. Most of the people in my company seem to be religious, so it would be alright to have a religious theme I think. Thanks for your help in advance!

Hello! My friend and I are trying to find a cute original costume for Halloween. We've come up with the classics: Devi/Angel, Cop/Robber, but we are looking for something really unique. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I want the costume to be true to history where would I look to get color ideas? My little history memory makes me think that they all had some sort of distinguishing color in their clothing that made them easier to recognize.

Every year I make an at home haunted house. This year however I'm finding it difficult to come up with something new to add. Remember this is at home so money is a problem. I can't wait to see all your answers!

I am curious, and would like some feedback about an idea I have for Halloween treats this year. I would like to make some playdough and give it out in small clear containers to the trick or treaters. I am the type of person who would still love to be able to give out candied apples and such, but for obvious reasons won't. I have tried to place my mind in todays parents, and think of all the reasons they may not want their kids to play with the homemade playdough .... but can not come up with anything. Do you think this is a good idea, and is there something this Grandma is missing about the fear out there concerning Halloween treats? thanks in advance!
footnote: I live in a very small town, so the big city stigma is not there, but I just moved here several years ago and am not well known.

If Jesus was born in the spring, when things were growing and beginning, why would the celebration of his birth be in the winter, when everything has died away? Why is it around the time the Aztecs (our winter-their spring) celebrated the birth of their sun god? Who made up all the symbols of Christmas? In Hebrew scriptures, the tongue which Jesus spoke, his name is Yeshua or Yeshoor. Why does his name start out with 'J', a letter not invented til 1,000 years later. Who changed his name & why? Why is it so close to the name Zeus, the head god of another religion? Why is Mary the name of King James's sister? Why is Joseph another family member of King James? Why do people follow a selfish king such as King Constantine who changed the Sabbath to Sunday? Even in the Spanish language, Sabbath & Saturday are translated into sabado. Why doesn't the Bible speak of Jesus's travels to India? Why doesn't it say he was wealthy? He was the decendant of mighty, King David?...just why?
