I came home the other day and had 55 e-mails, all from yahoo about new answers to my Question. i did not ask for this facility.
I went onto edit and deleted same thing. They are still coming through, I again went onto edit, unticked the box, but the messages are still coming through! Why?
i would have posted this question on Yahoo but I am unsure as to which category I should be in.

I've always believed in these sayings
" The more grudges you hold in your heart the less room you'll have to love people."
"If someone hurt you, for you to hold on to that hurt, is essentially allowing that person to continue to hurt you, haven't they done enough damage without you allowing them to keep twisting the knife?".

How magical was Christmas for you? Did your parents go the extra mile to make you believe? Did you wake up at 4am to open presents. Are you glad they did that?

I remember these -If you tell what you had just dreamt, before you ate breakfast it would come true( uusally that applied to nightmares) and don't tell a wish you make with your birthday candles or it won't come true.

We have bought 6 items, nothing too expensive but, because the account is in my name everything arrives addressed to me! My Partner gives me the money to pay for his purchases but because every parcel is plain wrapped and ALL addressed to me, we haven't got a clue what is in each one.
We have not opened any parcels yet so that we can wrap them up for each other because, we don't know what's in them!
We have decided to wrap them all, put them under the tree and hope for the best on Christmas Day.
If I get a set of spanners and he gets a Rampant Rabbit! So Beit!

I would seek asylum, in a far off land if I had to be swapped for

1. Booby, married to John McCrirrick

2. Debbie married to Paul Daniels

3. Camilla, of course, married to Charles. Although he might be able to revive my house plants by chatting to them.

I am not in a relationship and honestly, don't have time for one but I do miss the affection like hugs, someone to hold your hand, or cuddle and watch a movie. Do any of you feel like that?
I spend time with my little niece and a child that I am big sister to once a week and get a couple hugs and that seems to help but they say in order to be really healthy you should get at least 11 hugs a day!lol! Well I would settle for less than that but really do you ever feel this way.

I asked a question earlier about a senior exchange program of residences for vacation purposes. I joking mentioned I wasn't talking about exchanging Grandma.

Well, now I am. Maybe Grandma needs to get away, too.

Many seniors are on restricted diets & low fat is so boring. I was wondering if any of you just throw caution to the wind & eat the "bad" foods anyway, then keep your fingers crossed trhat your heart will hold out until you can digest it! Serious! Do you?

I would. I watch Flip This House on T.V all the time. I think it would be fun and a great creative outlet and hopefully a money maker. Sometimes they have and update on a ''flip'' and we see that the flippers have not made as much money as they thought they would. Still I would like to do it.

I live in tornado alley (Springfield, MO) and we do get some pretty horrendous weather conditions. But I have noticed lately that the local TV "weather men" continuously use the term "Storm". Whatever happened to "heavy rain" ; "chance of a few thunder claps"; etc. The local people here raise my blood pressure to unbelievable heights! EVERYTHING is now a storm. Tonight they announced a snow storm was on its way from Kansas and gave their predictions as to how much would hit Missouri. To listen to them, we would all need skis to get out from under it!! So I called the local office of the National Weather Service and they told me that there was a "chance" that the rain and snow could reach S.W. MO, but " no appreciable accumulation was anticipated" - does anyone know how these weather forecasters are allowed to get away with this obvious abuse of power?

Recently I have received a lot of emails from various Banks - Bank of America, Central Bank and Empire Bank (I do not use any of them) all asking me to confirm my information for online banking??? Then today I got an email from Central Bank again and this time they told me that "Your Profile has been locked" because you did not confirm your account details! Has anyone else experienced such an obvious scam? I reported the one to Bank of America - no reply - seems they do not care either!
