I have a Yahoo email account (who doesn't?) but lately I have been getting a great deal of email that is NOT addressed to me. Does anyone else have this problem and if so, can you please tell me how to contact Yahoo about this problem!

Yep, it's all designed to get you to email them in return so they can get your real name off you address. It's called PHISHING (fishing) & you should just mark it as SPAM or delete it without replying to it. Don't forget to empty out your trash bin on a daily basis to remove their spam from your system completely.
Don't even open & read an email that you do not recognize as coming from a known source or person! Many have a virus hidden in them, so just deleting isn't enough...you should get them off your screen & out of your system completely just in case you forget they are there & open them by error!

That is spam.. it is all messed up, usually the dates and the TO and the FROM especially will be wrong. It is just someone's way of advertising.
I've had my account for 10 years and the longer you have the account, the longer spam senders have your email, the more email you get.. I get hundreds a day/week.
You have to tturn on the bulkmail folder.

It is addressed to you or you would not be getting it. Problem is that people or companies you do not know are getting your email address. Just check those that you do not trust and send them to spam. Don't open email if you do not know the sender...your computer can get a virus by doing this.
It happens to everyone.

Yes. It seems like once the new mail program came out I started getting spam. And it is starting to piss me off.
I don't need to enlarge my dodad, don't need to meet sexysally$$$, don't need any more funeral plans, and don't want to receive 8,459 more credit cards.
Bulk mailer what?? I'm old, make it easy, I don't have time to filter through poop folders

Those all go to my "bulk" mail. I check bulk mail once every day or so, glance over the list, and if I don't recognize the sender I don't open them. Then I empty my bulk mail folder.

I set the bulk folder to immediately delete upon receipt. Works for me.
