They all have something wonderful. The Oregon coast, the northern California coast, all the way down, Monterrey. The bridge to Whidbey Island, Wa, view. The ocean from Boothbay Harbor, MA. Sunsets off the Great Lakes (yes, and Grand Marais). The Grand Canyon. Devils Den State Park, Ark. I loved every one, and more. The Appalachians, out of Gatlinburg, Tenn, at the Appalachian trail. So many! This is indeed a beautiful country.

The Painted Desert & Black Hills area in South Dakota. It was a facinating & magical place that has always stayed in my mind since I was there in 1963.
The Grand Canyon has it's own beauty.
The giant Sequoias & Redwood trees of Northern California.
I was also amazed at the beauty of the Arizona Desert Community of Arcosanti in the desolate area, where Artists live & work in a commune-type of underground & above-ground structures that were designed to be a City of the future! This awesome one-of -a kind place just pops up off the desert floor like a mirage!

I have to say without a doubt unequivocally NIAGARA FALLS. It is so very breath taking it brought tears to my eyes. It is so powerful, so beautiful, so larger than life, the pictures do not do it justice. Unless you have first viewed it in real life. The horseshoe falls, the many other smaller falls, the light shows, the mist as it sprays your face, all the wonder of something so devastatingly beautiful, and knowing that it was God's creation. It truly deserves the adjective AWESOME when describing it.

The Kenai Peninsula of Alaska....One could not take a thousand pictures a day, and capture all the magnitude and beauty.....Bald Eagles, sea lions, sea otters, and waterfowl and shorebirds abound.....and from the ferry landing in Seldovia, you can see the volcano's rising up out of the ocean on the horizon.......It was like being in a National Geographic documentary......
