Ok everyone, I know this is senior citizens, but I'd like the answer from you guys. Most seniors I meet or talk to seem to be alot stronger mentally or full of serenity compared to me or someone my age. I want to know if you guys think it's just a generation thing, that you have always been like that, or that people actually CAN get better.... I'm 22, I get real depressed and anxious about things like relationships and life in general.... Do you guys know, or are you someone who had a hard time coping with life as a young adult...are you better now?
Thanks alot guys.

I remember a spinning top that had a tulip inside- as you spun it faster, the tulip opened to reveal a ballerina.

I live in NC and there are lots of them here.I took up carving and painting them this year, and I guess I'm more aware of em now.
I also remember seeing them on relatives' farms when I was a kid.

all the folks are (seemingly) gone!
what I like about this section of YA is that we ask nice, friendly innocuous questions, and for the most part we answer in kind. I was thinking, if I asked what's your favorite ANYTHING on another section I'd get a whole bunch of mean, smarta**ed answers, then I'd go to bed feeling sulky.
I've been to some of the other sections; I've even participated in some, but I always come back here.
so where is everybody??

I went into the site to have some fun. They all talk about stealing their best friends girl, if they should color their hair, etc. They can't spell either. I felt really out of it. Have any of you had the same experience?

My son took me to one today and I really enjoyed it! The place was called the British Pantry (owned by transplanted Brits). It even had a red telephone booth in the garden. So quaint. I tried the Bangers and they were delicious!

Mine has been here for about a month, my husband(his stepdad) said he had to go, either my son goes or my husband goes. Plus he said some really ugly things to my son, and to me about him as well. We have had to stay with relatives before, because of the lack of a job. Don't know what to do or say.

let me tell ye a story .........
once upon a time on this site - folk were getting on well and enjoying themselves in a way that not many of sound mind would find offensive - then amongst us came a wee sad, pathetic, lonely, frustrated and more than likely - very very boring skillkit (scottish fer something you find on the bottom of yer shoe if ye worked in a farm yard) and this skillkit brought with it sadness. But the wee rabbit did not have the 'courage' to sign its name or make itself known to those that it rubbished - it hid and made judgements that it was not fit to make because you see - it was not worthy in the first place to be among us. And what is worse than that wee Min is that this creature is no doubt hiding itself under the coat of friendship and pretends to one and all that it is a good and caring thing - and in fact - it lives in and on and around darkness and misery.
But come over here wee Min - we will take care o' you and welcome you warmly!

I've just posted in polls and surveys, I was trying to have a laugh, but loads of people can't have read it all. I can tell that by the answers. lol

My question is: Do you read the whole question or just guess what some of it may say?

I got to thinking about some of the silly things we've done as kids. I remember my brothers doing this because somebody told them they could. Do you have any such memories?
