I'm a newcomer here, so I have no idea of what is going on! I understand the Scottish sayings and can follow what she says, but I'm not sure why we're supposed to be supporting her. I have no idea what happened before I arrived here around September 10. I didn't know about Yahoo! Answers, and I've never happened across Senior Citizens till now.
By the way, I do think I qualify to be here since I'm a Baby Boomer just five years from the start of the generation.
Right now, I'm very confused! Who are "we" upset by?

this is important for more reasons than eyedontnose, too...this section is mostly conflict-free, and I like it that way.
for posters who wander in here, looking for a fight -hey, we're just a buncha old farts, we'll bore you, go hang out in current events or politics or something, ok?
