ok for example
if you see someone scratchin their head when they are lookin at somthing. you think they are confused.

if someone puts their hand on their chin and rubs their fingers on i guess their jaw or check. people assiosiate that with think about something.

there is a coupel more along that line that are just simple common things peopel do. that are connected with stuff like that.

just wanderin why people connect things like that with certain charectoristics ???

I ask because it seems this is an accepted stereotype in the media, particularly among blacks. For that reason, I don't feel comfortable dancing around black people, cause I don't want to worry about people making fun of me when I dance.

That's actually me in the pic and that's all my natural hair ("dread"locks). I can't count the number of times people of all races asked me "is that your hair" or they would ask what are you mixed with.....as if fully black people can't grow hair. I'm from the virgin Islands a lot of my family and friends wear their natural hair it's very long, so I don't understand.
For instance look at the people in these pictures on myspace:

Do people based their opinions of black people by listening to rap music? Just wanted to let sheltered people know that not all black people use the term and not all of us are concerned about it either.

Isn't there other things to worry about? In my country I am happy to be healthy and have something to eat. It makes me sad that you have all this time to obsess over an insult. It is also a little sick.

Why have we as people let our government, tell what we can say and not say?
Why are we as people afraid to say what we feel?
Do we have a right to express ourselfs, or not?
Black people are making a big deal out of nothing.
What makes them so special. Why are they so negative about. what others may say?
Is it because they are black, and they feel they have a right.
To tell white people or any other race. What they can say and not say?
What makes it alright for them to take away our freedom of speech.
But yet they turn around, and say things about white people, or some other race?
I think we should get together, and stop letting the government, take away our basic rights. But i have found people or so afraid. because they might get thrown in jail. Or they may offend someone.
Why are the people of america.
So afraid to stand up to their own government. When it is the government. that is doing this to us.
I think its time for another revolution

Story on Yahoo today:

Santas warned 'ho ho ho' offensive to women
Wed Nov 14, 11:04 PM ET
SYDNEY (AFP) - Santas in Australia's largest city have been told not to use Father Christmas's traditional "ho ho ho" greeting because it may be offensive to women, it was reported Thursday.
Sydney's Santa Clauses have instead been instructed to say "ha ha ha" instead, the Daily Telegraph reported.
One disgruntled Santa told the newspaper a recruitment firm warned him not to use "ho ho ho" because it could frighten children and was too close to "ho", a US slang term for prostitute.

What do you think? Your honest answer please, is this phrase offensive to women? What's the world coming to when Santa can't say ho ho ho?

A child cannot grow outside a uterus and I don't believe it every will because there is so much that goes on in a woman's body during pregnancy that will never be able to mimicked because no one really even knows what it consists of. Maybe if people took the time to really think about it, there would be less cruelty to our most valuable resource.

We don't talk on the phone anymore. Instead we send a few badly-abbreviated, non-punctuated words to someone. I also believe people are losing their manners and common sense with text messaging. I see people texting everywhere, including while driving and even while talking to other people. I feel like the entire younger generation is going to lose important communication skills because of text messaging. Am I wrong?

This is one of those "Are you kidding me?" Articles in my book. Is there anyone out there that doesn't think this is taking being PC way, way, way too far?

Also do you think it makes Australia look stupid for doing things like this? I think it makes them look afraid to live life without watching every word. If a woman told me she was offended by by Santa saying HO HO HO she would be really offended when I called her a moron.

koreans always say this. always hearing them look down on japanese, chinese ( who look like them owing it to the fact that they come from the same race) and on southeast asian women for their brown color and even saying that they are black. if this is true, why all the surgery in korea among young and old. i mean, they undergo surgery not because of old age or sth but more of getting a job and a husband.

So there is BET (black entertainment television), black history month, Miss Black America. so on.
[We do have hispanic heritage month too]

Tell me your opinion on this, do you think that is racist (for lack of a better word)?
Do you think people would be offended if we had a WET or AET? Or what if we had White Guy Acknowledgment week, Asian appreciation month, etc. What if we had a miss white america?

If all races are equal, why do we STILL acknowledge it someone is black and they make big history. Trust me I AM NOT RACIST, actually I am complete opposite. I just trhink its a little silly thats all. Does anyone agree or disagree?

Please don't be rude. I am curious as to what you think about this.

this question came from the fact that i often hear korean women dissing southeast asian women (i.e. indonesian, filipino, thai, malaysian,) for their tanned or brown skin tone. on the other hand, they envy the double eyelid these women have. my pretty korean friends have all undergone one or more plastic surgery but the not pretty ones have never undergone any procedures. so guys and gals: EAST ASIAN OR SOUTHEAST ASIAN BEAUTIES...Judge by their natural beauty and majority of the pop. thanks...

p.s. m not being racist,ok?
