SYDNEY (AFP) - Santas in Australia's largest city have been told not to use Father Christmas's traditional "ho ho ho" greeting because it may be offensive to women, it was reported Thursday. Sydney's Santa Clauses have instead been instructed to say "ha ha ha" instead, the Daily Telegraph reported

This is one of those "Are you kidding me?" Articles in my book. Is there anyone out there that doesn't think this is taking being PC way, way, way too far?

Also do you think it makes Australia look stupid for doing things like this? I think it makes them look afraid to live life without watching every word. If a woman told me she was offended by by Santa saying HO HO HO she would be really offended when I called her a moron.

I especially appreciated the point that small children don't even know the "other" meaning of the word Ho, so therefore would be oblivious that Santa is "perhaps" disrespecting women. BAAA HUMBUG, as Scrooge used to say!!
