Never met an Aussie I didn't like. Always friendly. In fact if there is one place I would move too it would be Austrailia.

Americans say they like us Australians but when you ask why its always the cool accent that comes up. Don't get me wrong at least they know the accent how many have put in the effort to actually learn anything about us.
I heard a comment from an American couple on the tram in Melbourne on the way home from work one day husband said to the wife "Oh look honey they have Safeway here" in a peak hour tram it made them look a bit foolish now this was a couple in their late 50's early 60's and you had the feeling they really did expect to see kangaroos jumping down Bourke Street.
Now when Australia gets American news live A question on YA the other day was when did Australia find out about 9/11? I am sorry it would be nice if Americans put in just a little bit of effort to learn what Australia is all about.

The few that I've been fortunate enough to meet, anyway. They were very nice people.

Well, of course we do! When I was living in England and the Brits would make fun of me, the Australians always made me feel better. You folks travel all over the world, you're very inventive, and we could learn a lot from your educational system.

Of course we do.
Any country that can produce Mad Max and The Road Warrior, Vermin the size of Hulk Hogan, Geoffrey Rush, Peter Weir, AC/DC (I know they are Scottish, but they grew up in Australia), Pharlap, the Outback, Aborigines, Road trains, and the driver's crazy enough to drive them is worthy of being liked.
