When I was younger, I was always teased for being dark skinned and it hurt me so much to this day people still comment about my skin. When I was little I used to cry, I did.nt want to go to school. It made me wish that I was lighter and to this day I still do. I just don't understand, after all of the stuff about segregation, slavery that our people went through black people are so ignorat against their own people.

When filling out forms, questions often ask for race (White, Black [of hispanic origin, not of hispanic origin], Asian/pacific islander, or Native American. There is never a place for mixed
people.
haf black/white people usually just consider blacks
but the half asian/white people I met considered themselves"Eurasian"
not just asian, because they look half and half, and the full blood asian people think their white, white people think their asian.
and halflatino/white people usually look very white, some even have blone hair and blue eyes.
Do you think government need to add a place for mixed people like( ''bi-racial''______and_____)filling in the box.
some mixed people would filled in "other" but I don't think most people would like to be called "other".
more and more babies are mixed nowadays

He is holding back from asking her and persuing a relationship with because she is Jewish and he isnt (possible religious and cultural barriers). Have any of you ever encountered this situation? Please, any advice would be enlightening. Thanks

I'm just curious to know if anyone has any theories why expressions like "dis", "24/7", and "chill out" have caught on with Whites while expressions like "word bond" [short for "My word is my bond"] have not.

Communities interact with each other on local levels, yet the mainstream media make a fuss out of differences. Are these differences real or imagined. If people can live in harmony in a local (mircocosm) level, why cant they live in harmony on a global (macrocosm) level?

I would like to hear from some people who have overcome their own predjudices. How did you do it? Was there a key peice of information that helped you look at the topic/subject/group differently?

And for those who still hold on to some predjudices, what do you think you would need to overcome them? Is there some information in particular you would like?

Ok, now I will meet there is a lot of rap that turns me off and the style in which it looks can be real gangsta and downright scary in it's appearance. And a lot of white people tend to hate on blacks for that and well, I can't disagree with them. I'm black and even I'll admit it's a bit bad in it's appearance and effect. However, I rarely here white people hate on rock. Blacks are respectful enough not to hate on white people's rock either. And to me, rock is some of the most obnoxious, loud, irritating music I have ever heard. And if you want to talk about bad in appearance, rockers have tattooes all over their stomachs and arms, usually with their shirts off. They have piercing in their nose and necks, long wild hair, a lot of times paint, and black lipstick. Just look at Marilyn Manson. I mean, I could go on for ages on how crazy rockers look. There's also those white gothic people who are sort of connected to rock. How come white people never hate on that but hate on blacks rap.

I've been looking on the q&a for about 30 minutes now and have seen at least 70 racial questions. There is something wrong with every race. It was made like that for a reason. So heres a few questions for the world in general.

1. What is wrong with caucasian people?
2. What is wrong with black people?
3. what is wrong with asian people?
4. Why do these races differ from each other?
5. Why do the people in each of these races feel that they are so different.
6. Why did we even start thinking we are different?
7. If we are so different why is our anatomy the same?
8. Why is a difference in race so important among our communities.
