are there requirements that make up a krewe. We live if florida and for the past ten years we have a wonderful family oriented mardi gras parade it's a two weed end event with kids and pet parade kicking it off and than we have a pirate invasion and a main parade to top it off with great music an good food but lately it's gotten a bit distorted from what it has been in the past and the kids are often pushed around and if they catch beads often adults quite too intoxicated will take and snatch them out of there hands and the past two years while over all fun it was not as good and geared to the children so i want to know what it takes to start a krewe so next year mt krewe and i can focos on the kids instead of fight for them to get even a few stands of beads while full grown adults walk away with the plastic duckie beads that were directrly meant fo the kids but when the kids caught them they were yanked out of there hands

I've noticed looking through the classified ads, that more and more jobs are listing 'fluency in Spanish' as a job requirement. I believe this is very unfair. I could be totally qualifiied for the job, but can't get it because I don't speak Spanish?!! I don't see any job requiring one to speak French, German, Russian, Japanese or Chinese. Why are we being forced to accomodate to Spanish speaking people?

I have a question for all of you racist people: Having your own beliefs in perfectly fine. But unless they are based on good, solid information- they are basicaly nonexistant. As a 13-year old, I often ask myself why people look at Sfrican- Americans so differently than they do Caucasians. I mean, skin tone is only caused by a level of Melanin, which you get from the sun, which then works into the Genetic Scheme. So how could that possibly affect a Black person's attitude? It doesn't- so how can people possible desciminate African-Americans like they do, if their only difference from Caucasians is their skin-tone. Italians or Irish aren't often descriminated for their unusually dark and light complexions. So why African- Americans? My Father is racist, and I can'ty understand it! Someone explain?

I'm English and all for it and i love America,never been but still love it... but anyway why are they misguided to us...they see us all as stereotypes that we have bad teeth,talk either with a posh or london accent and say bloody hell all the time,i say bloody hell,but i'm sure most english people dont, i mean i dont know anyone who says it besides me??

I love genetics, but I am not aware of the details of how dominant the characteristics that go on for asian peopple are, for I have met many who are only part asian, and could have genetic influence from people with light eyes, but I have never seen someone of asian descendeny with natural eyes of either blue, green or whatever color we classify as light.

Has anyone?

I have been having some very strange dreams. They ALL are about me committing suicide. And I have been thinking of suicide a few weeks ago b/c i was rejected by a str8 girl. I thought i was over it, but for 3 nights in a row i dreamt of falling, drowning, and being stabbed to death. Is there a significant meaning behind this?

Latinos just offer to work for a low wage and companies are GIVING them a job. Should people be angry at companies for hiring them instead of blaming mexicans? I am white by the way. Same goes for outsourcing to India. It sounds like us whites are becoming the new blacks.
