Everyone has some of the ‘we’ vs. ‘them’ inside, and that is not entirely a bad thing. Every social animal identifies with its own group. Wolves have a very strict system where pups bond with the wolves around them until about 6 months of age, then they do not accept new wolves as part of their ‘family’.
Humans have a more complex and flexible system, but the underlying principle is the same. Racism is one of the ugly side effects of what is a necessary part of human life and evolution.
Unlike wolves, we have the ability to observe, evaluate, and modify our behavior. However, this does not come easily, or even naturally, and it takes effort to overcome this aspect of our nature. Mostly, it seems to take education. Racism is less common among people who are better educated and those who have had significant exposure to people of other races and cultures.

I see some people are using racism & prejudice as if they are interchangable. Racism & Prejudice are two different things...
Racism(has to do with beliefs/thoughts) is the belief that one race is superior over another
Prejudice (has to do with actions) is an irrational attitude of hostility directed against an individual, a group, a race, or their supposed characteristics
But to answer the question. Yes.
In response to "Bitchy" response... thats Stereotypes, sweetie.

Yes. But it is a learned behavior. Without being taught and being told that someone else is less or considered more than, there wouldn't be any racism.

yes in a way. Because everyone makes a generalization about each others race. Such as "All black people eat chicken" or "All Chinese people do nails".

No one has racism in them.
The correct word is predjuice.
Unfortunately, the people who have the most predjuice in them, minorities, claim to have none. It is always the whites fault.
