hello how are you this nice day ,evening what ever? What is the purpose of bashing the only country that saved Britain in WW II and France and all those refugees? How about it you people would not even be around unless you were in pointy little hats, nickers and knee socks with Buster Brown shoes and a swatztke tatooed on your foreheads, or maybe a communist system or a fascist Mussolini group? Maybe we are having problems here but you have had your share too, and if we don't play nice with others we won't get any pudding? And we all like pudding. So why not group together as the We the People from anywhere and openly understand we are all in this one together if all hell breaks loose? Let us play it like we are all orphans of the storm and we need to form a think tank to escape and come with good questions for change and purpose?
I just hope I can be as strong as my parents and their parents and go to war to the bone if necessary for our freedom and yours.May God Bless you all.

I'm african american not mixed with anything, and you may think that my culture is Black Culture. But the way I see it black culture is presented as hip hop, gangsta, make money, be a loser, be superficial blah blah. I absolutly refuse to accept that as my culture. Now I'm not some black person who grow up in a white neighborhood, I grew up in ghetto *** Tampa. So I have no culture to go with. Not African culture, one not knowing what tribe or whatever my family is from and two, I don't know if you know but a lot of Africans, especially ones from war torn places, don't like African Americans at all. I'm pretty sure they would murder me if I went there claiming to be one of them. American culture? Hot dogs and sh*t? MTV? Losing wars? Yeah I'll pass. I'm not angry but should I be? Should I worry about this, or am I over exagerrating? If your Chinese an people don't like you over here, so what? In China your the sh*t, or at least you fit in. I dunno maybe I misunderstand culture?

I'm considering going there for about 2-3 years to attend university in Helsinki. I was wondering if anyone could share their experiences? How easy is it to get by without speaking Finnish (I'm a native English speaker)? What are the attitudes of the Finnish people towards foreigners? Is it really expensive? And can one have a good time on a limited budget?

PS: Though it sounds like I'm asking other foreigners, I would love to hear from native Finns too!

Society views the father's heritage/religion as the dominant one.
So for the most part if a Jew male marries a non-Jew, the kids will be raised as Jews and identify as Jews (because it's hard not to with a last name like Goldstein)
So by instituting the matrilineal descent laws, if a non-Jew male marries a Jew, she feels that it's her duty to raise the kids as Jews and the kids knowing this information will identify as Jews.
So in the end, whatever the outcome, a union between a Jew and a non-Jew ends in Jewish kids.

Fijian-Indians or Indo-Fijians are displaced and misrepresented. Some people do not even know that they are a distinct group of people. That aside, many Indians themselves are unaware although Fijian Indians trace their ancestry back to India. It is understood that the British were responsible for the labouring of Indians on sugarcane plantations around the 19th C but many people dont know anything about their Indian roots.

I saw a question a while back from some chick who wrote something like: why are white men dating ugly asian women. I didn't respond to the question because it was stupid but it got me thinking. Do alot of people, white, black, asian, hispanic or whatever go with people of another race because they are attracted to them only? To put it more succinctly, do alot of people go with someone of ANOTHER race because they are just attracted to that race? For instance my hispanic friend only dates black men and no other race. Is this a common thing in your opinion or a rarity? It's not a issue with me or anything but I was just curious as to what people of all different races thought.

All my life my I was told that "ALL" (Not just whites) races look down on blacks and blame all negatives on blacks. At my young age I plannned to be a perfectionist. I am still in school though but I must be number 1. The job I work at I am aggressive, my school work must be an A++, even when I play sports I must win. I want to rise farther than those who say I am infereior cause of my race. Many people say I am mean and too "top dog". Some say I am an over achiever and I don't have to prove myself, but I do feel like I have to prove something. Most say I have a chip on my shoulder, but I just want to be the best.

Am I wrong for feeling this way? I am tired of hearing "Blacks are inferior and not human" They may be right about the not human part, cause I am going to be so much more advanced than them, that I am going to seem like and alien to them.

I just realized that FILIPINOTOWN in california is'nt that well known
as CHINATOWN. and the people living mostly in filipinotown aren't even filipinos its latinos, and seriously , like its filled with vandals& grafftitsi .

My fiance, and I are thinking of moving to Richlands, NC in the very near future. Anyone from around there or that town? I know its a quieter town, but we were wondering about jobs and such. I know they have an amazing school system and people like to move to Richlands for that particular reason. We have a 2 month old, obviously not ready for that stage of life. Any advice offered is very appreciated =)
