Whenever I go to a chinese buffet restaurant, I always see lots of mexicans there, dining... Yet, when I go to a mexican restaurant, I NEVER see any chinese people dining. What gives?

In college I had black friends. I was in choirs with them. I played sports with them. But we didn't go to the same parties. Now as an adult I have no black friends and I get the feeling sometimes that black people have no interest in social interaction with white people. I know that it isn't easy to generalize but do black people not want to hang out with white people or what?

I shop alot, and my boss says to me " you better stop shopping or else you won't have money to pay your rent." First of all I OWN and not rent. And secondly what business is it of hers or ANYONE in that matter what the fucckk I do with my money. And then there's the bittch in finance questioning Human Resources on what they pay me because of how I dress and the pocket books I carry. Have you ever seen such blatantly racism and JEALOUSY??? A black woman can't be pretty, educated, well dressed and shop till you drop without these jealous RACIST remarks! I have been recording all the other statements too! But these two remarks take the CAKE! FEED BACK PLEASE!

I wanted to post this in Spanish but the powers that be deemed the only apporpriate language to be English so here goes...

1. What do think of the concept of "Latinismo"?
2. Do you think it's realistically possible in our day and age and if so should we then attempt this goal or do you think there's no real need for it?
3. Does this mean we surrender our own nationalistic tendencies and embrace a greater cause?

My own view is that not only is it possible but warranted in this day and age.

Weigh fat children so that their fat parents may do something about their weight, hmmmmmm

I am dissatisfied with my life. I am 31 years old, married with no kids. I have a cosmetology license that I don't use. After finishing, I realized that as hard as I tried, it was not my passion. My passions are music, theater and foreign languages. I have a history of anxiety and depression and extreme boredom. I can't seem to focus on anything and see it through.
I have considered seeing a psychologist. At my age, is it possible to have ADD? I have often wondered. I know a 23 year old girl that says she take Adderoll for studying. I'm tired of feeling like an underachiever. I know have artistic talent and I'm good at languages (My husband thinks I would be a good teacher.), but I just can't seem to make anything work. My concentration levels are very bad. I try to study, and I fall asleep. Any advice?

I sometimes go out with people from my residential college to clubs/pubs/bars...the difficulty I have is, I always find myself socially awkward/isolated & I feel compelled to talk to ppl or join a group of ppl chatting but I juz cannot seem to get connected with ppl no matter how hard I tried...does anyone know why and how I should respond in this kinda social setting (I seldom go to these places btw)? It is quite frustrating...could it be cultural too (most of these ppl are Aussies & I'm Asian btw; I understand some Aussies can be quite cliquey)?

I wonder has India lost it's way. From self reliant nation, are we turning into a nation that depends on others for everything like
Culture which is Western,
Leadership which is Italian
Sports which are western
Religion (not as faith) but as values
Needs:- a Change from basic needs to all the materialistic needs

I remember India, as nation where people were kind, simple, educated, non-materialistic, less corrupt. It used to be a nation that was role model.
Now Is India is a bankrupt nation in every aspect from morally to materially?

I saw a segment on the news that tested the blood of schoolchildren to determine their heritage and genetic make-up.
It was surprising how many had a substantial percentage of their genetic make-up originating fom Africa poulations.

I wondered how many of the outspoken members of the KKK and other White-Supremicist groups which call for "White Purity" would find that they were less than purely white?

I think it would be an interesting experiment and eye-opening for those people.
