Yes, but the kind of education that comes from parents, not schools.
What they teach you in your formative years sticks with you the rest of your life. We all have our parents to thank for our morals, not the schools we attended.

not nessacerly bc it falls on the parents and how they treat education weater it is important enough to make sure there kids are doing homework attending school and weather the parents care about the work that there kids do and if the parents even go to the parent teacher conference that all can effect the children and it also falls on the teachers too does the teacher act like they really care about his her student do they teach the subject that they are in charge of well do they answer the students question well and who attends the schools also plays a part is there violence in the schools if so then that could make them not learn as well even though the school has a very high education level new books new gymnaism so on so forth. if non of this happens then the students who are citizens will not make very good ones bc they will not care what they do bc why should they no one else does but if they get tought that being a good citizen is important just like there education then yes they could be but they need citizens who are law abiding and care about them whole heartly so they can become good citizens good education is just a stepping stone of teaching children and adults what a good citizen is.

No, and the why not would be that we a human and not robots. We react with a morbid sense of self worth. For example siblings fighting over there wants, toys,games,etc.. They have grown up in the same environment and have had the same education but yet they strive to be number one. Competition exist everywhere and therefore you make choices as to what and how far you go to win. Education along with a certain type of person breeds a great detective and that same education with a different type of person breed a very proficient criminal.
Education does create a better value of life to a country of people and the knowledge of all is used to protect and yet punish people living together.
Newton's third law of motion commonly paraphrased: For ever action there is an equal, but opposite reaction. I think we have mingled physics with mental but for something to be good it usually is measured against something bad.

Yes in some ways. Well educated people are not pliable to government propaganda. Good education must be defined. Learning to read and write is just the tool. Must learn to think and question things. The difference in curriculum in different areas will show who gets a GOOD education and who learns how to follow. Therefore, 'good' education creates problems for govnt. Always the case!

Good education is suppose to provide good job opportunities which enhance all aspects of ones life giving them less reasons to partake in actions that cause downfalls in our society, supposedly. However, if a society can't provide enough jobs for its citizens to all enjoy a certain level of quality of life they can find satisfactory in most aspects of their life, then their educational background won't matter. Those who cannot take care of themselves will resort to any means necessary to get what they feel they need.
But even still, a good education doesn't even explain other aspects of citizenship in which people commit crimes against other people for no other reason that the pleasure it gives them. You can find pedophiles from all walks of life and higher education but their issues are mental afflictions/perversions. Education also can't tone down a man's need to want more no matter what he has, his thirst for power will still drive him to take what he can get whether it be more money resulting him embezzling or power over another human in the form of rape.
Essentially, good education puts enough people into the job force to make for a competitive society through their collective invention and industriousness, but it does not curb human nature in the process.

Definitely. But along with a good education, they need to learn that education and learning is an ongoing process and that they should learn all that they can. For example: many people who are against the war advocate an immediate withdrawel or seem to think that America is extending it by choice.

I think "good education" creates more socially conscious citizens, which leads to a better community.

No. I think good people are created by their upbringing. Good citizenship is taught early in life and the parents are usually the teachers.
Good education may have a bit of impact on it, but it doesn't create them

No because there will always be some who refuse to be educated. However it does increase the liklihood of graduates being good citizens than those who are uneducated and do not know better.

no, good citizens come straight from their homes, not their education level....
I have experienced from the porest and lowest levels of education in my home country to the better school such as UF over here
Education helps HAVE THE KNOLEDGE of what the smart choices are but the upbringing in the family is what will determine in the end the choices actually made.
