I wonder has India lost it's way. From self reliant nation, are we turning into a nation that depends on others for everything like
Culture which is Western,
Leadership which is Italian
Sports which are western
Religion (not as faith) but as values
Needs:- a Change from basic needs to all the materialistic needs

I remember India, as nation where people were kind, simple, educated, non-materialistic, less corrupt. It used to be a nation that was role model.
Now Is India is a bankrupt nation in every aspect from morally to materially?

Remember the famous song, "Mera joota hai Japani"
It's only a fling that most Indians have when aping the west. In the long term, any modern Indian/Indian living abroad would definitely like to be in India. Atleast it works in 90% of the cases. The money, buying power and everything else has defintely become much better for an average Indian.
As they say, the middle class has never had it so good like now.
If we all looked at the brighter side, India will defintely be the best in the world in no time, what with the devoted, hardworking and patriotic people that many Indians are

I think you r right..India did lose its way. One time we were pure..now we got filth on our nation everywhere. I think Money talks in India now. There was a time when my dad had to work nights and nights to get an engineering seat. Now there are engineering colleges on every road. Police were strict with rules back then..but today you could commit mistkes through money and not get caught. There is so much corruption. You r completely right..with the facts you pointed out..its hard to say that India didnt lose its way. We need more people like you to change the nation..thats the problem..people like you occur once in 10 billion people.

I do not agree to this. We adopt different things from different nations. For e.g. chinese food, western technologies, japanies cars, etc. But our culture is so vibrant. Now the west and other parts of the world need our ancient techniques. Spirituality can cure all problems we are facing now like terroismand war. So be proud of what we have.

No not at all.
In the summer, people say it's too hot and the can't wait till it cools up. In the winter, they will say it's too cold and can't wait till it warms up.

I think it's just a cycle.

People in western countries are becoming pure vegetarians from non-vegetarians. In India, more and more are becoming non-vegetarian.

We are on an economic uprising. Western countries will soon be in an economic downfall.

It is a passing phase. Don't worry, India will come out a winner. It has every time and this time also it is not going to be different.

you have an answer in your question itself.
Disorder comes from order.
similarly order emerges from disorder.
This is natural cycle. The communist countries like China and Russia are now moving to the other side. Is it not so?
