stella - please spare me the racism lecture. If one of the restaurant patrons came out and robbed you in the parking lot, and the police asked you for a description of the robber, would you answer "Gee officer, I don't know... I don't notice things like skin color."

The point of the question is - is there a cultural reason that chinese people seem NOT to prefer mexican food?

Maybe oriental people don't eat out as much as "mexicans".

Maybe there are more mexicans that orientals in the area where you live so naturally you will see more of them whereever you go.

There are lots of possible explanations.

Why did you notice the color of their skin? Isn't it all about what type of food you like to eat and for what price you want to pay?

I suppose you could deduce that Chinese people are less exposed to other foods and therefore prefer their own food?
