I have just read loads of answers from American's where someone asked what they thought about the English and over 50% used the term British in their answer?

This is a genuine question, not posted to cause trouble. I'm honestly intrigued as to why a lot of American's say British when they actually mean English. If you say Brits, then you are talking about English, Scots, Welsh and Northern Irish.

Sorry if I've offended anyone - I would just like to know?

when i see a program on tv dealing with pre-history all they show are dark haired dark eyed peoples. like now on tv they have something about the ice age and that is how all the people they show look. where are my people?

okay so ive been closeted for a while now... but i think it may be obvious to some friends. anyway. lately my youth group sunday morning class has been going over "deep and hard" subjects, including abortion, etc. and im terrified that they may do sexuality... what do i do or say. as you may have guessed many of these people are homophobic. including my brothers. suggestions.

Although i rarely (once every two monthes, when i feel like getting high) smoke cannabis i find these abovetheinfluence commericals annoying. why do they not do it on meth, cocaine (which personally ruined my life) heroin, ciggarettes? They can show a abovetheinfluence.com commerical followed by a guinness advertisement is completely beyond me.

Why are alcohol and tobacco so accepted but they fight so hard to keep a victimless drug illegal?

Abortion is a medical procedure that should ONLY be discussed btwn the woman & her doctor. Ive no right to infringe in her privacy. I wouldnt want anyone to violate MY rights & dictate my health concerns. Ive no right taking away a persons rights, born/unborn.

Im AGAINST abortion.I DESPISE abortion & if I were a woman Id NEVER have one. BUT Im not a woman & wouldnt know how it is to so I wont JUDGE the circumstances of her abortion. I wouldn't know if she was raped, whether the pregnancy will hurt her and the child's health, psych problems etc. Its NOT my business. Its a very sensitive issue. Its a medical issue btwn her and her doctor, an M.D.

Im not pretentious to think that others cant think for theirselves. I have belief in other people & choices they make. To me NO abortion is the right CHOICE, but we have to give them choice first. Taking away freedom to choose would kill the idealogy of what America stands for. Jesus taught compassion & not to judge thats why i'm PROCHO

I knew alot of girls, from egypt, from iraq, and from sauid arabia who did not stay virgins...they got their operation to restore themselves before they got married, so it looked like they were virgins.

A lot of garbage is being taught to kids that will never be used when they get older and have a job..... once it's taught it's never used and forgotten about.... think back to school and you should be able to think of many things you were taught and don't use anymore.... How can we change our education system to be more productive?? Like maybe finding out what their desires are at a young age and educating them in that direction........ also, a lot of kids don't even know how to balance a check book when they graduate.
