I know how wierd and confusing this is, maybe it shows in your facial features as oppose to your skin colouring.
I am half English and half Spanish, I have always lived in England and nobody can ever guess that I'm half Spanish but when I go to Spain the locals automatically chat away to me in Spanish - how do they know?!

I think you should read up on genetics a little bit. Then go read Richard Dawkins, The Selfish Gene.
You have 1/4 of the genes of each one of your paternal and maternal grandparents. So you may well have characteristic of a grandparent that are visible to the eye.
And anyway, you don't have Indian blood in you. You have your own blood.

The only way to know for sure is by genetic testing. Different combinations of facial features, skin tones, etc. are going to give you your unique look. Judging ethnicity by visual cues is hazy and often wrong. More importantly, it is based on the viewers own preconceptions of ethnic looks (which are in turn culturally biased). Your looks may suggest a certain ethnic heritage but nobody can "tell" just by looking at you.

Why should he care? You are a beautiful person no matter who your parents, or grand parents where. Who knows what mix anyone is anymore? You could have any number of backrounds in your genetic make up and wouldn't know it anymore. My father always called us Heinz 57 Americans.

It's about the hair sweetie. If you have a certain texture some people assume you're mixed with something.

It depends on the individual. You can sometimes tell by eyes or nose or other facial features as well as hair and complexion.

Mixed people can always spot other mixed people. We call it mixed-dar, lol.

Without looking at you, I wouldn't be able to tell you what feature it is that gives you away as being mixed, but there's usually always SOMETHING that lets people know you're mixed with something. Then the fun part is tryin to guess what the other race is! lol.

Man, I love being mixed ... lol.
