I mean i never thought of people from india to be caucasian, but i was reading something on the internet that they are caucasian, that everyone from the middle east and india are consider white as so are the europeans and north africans is this true?

Why have we strayed from the ideals and values of our previous generations? I'm disgusted by the whole "i'm a victim,too, it's not my fault" crap, and "everyone gets a handout" way of thimking!

Now, I am not saying that immigrants should not learn english, because I definitely believe that anyone moving to another country should try his or her hardest to learn the country's native tongue. But again, why should they lose their heritage as well? Why must immigrants conform and forget their roots just to have a better life here in the US?
I think that everyone needs to think back through their family trees and remember that they, too, came from another place, or at least once spoke a different language or dialect than what is spoken here.
Even those people of UK ancestry speak a different dialect than that of their ancestors. Have they forgotten this?
If they have, they need to wake up and realize that there is a huge world out there, with many different types of beautiful and wonderful cultures. No one should ever have to give up where they came from...and it is ignorant and infuriating to me to think that there are so many people out there that expect someone to do this.

I am a 19 year old Puerto Rican woman, and because of this, I am made fun of because I use intelligent phrases or words. Sometimes I am made fun of just because I know how to spell...and it is not because I correct nor insult anyone.
I am just wondering, why do some people believe that to be "superior" to others, they must lower themselves? To me, this is just ridiculous and a way for someone who is lazy to still feel good about themselves...

Anyway...I would like to know what others feel...

Ok, this is one where you have had to been there (luckily you werent), but I was in school and I was turned talking to my guy friend and a guy on the other side of me poked his pen into my side to get my attention and I jumped and farted at the same time (luckily only one of them heard it)

A kid in my speech class got called to the office for an appt. On his way out the door, he yelled, "See you all later! I'm going to a black panthers convention!" (The kid was black, and he was kidding). The teacher didn't say a word, and even chuckled. But what I think is wierd is that if a white kid had said "Cya later! I'm going to a KKK convention!", then he would have been suspended. I'm not saying that I'm racist or anything, or a member of the KKK, but I seriously want to know if I am the only one finding something wrong with this.

I know that a lot of people curse, and I do myself. But are swear words considered slang? I think it is, but I'm not sure if it's "officially" slang. Some guy says the words that replace them, ie; "darn, shoot," are slang. I think they all are. Truth?

I am making a gift for a little boy who is part Native American, and I have found nice graphics with eagle feathers I would like to include. What I need to know... is there a difference between one eagle feather hanging down, and two eagle feathers hanging down? I like the looks of two, but if that is meant for girls or something I don't want to look like an idiot. Does anyone with Native background want to help me out please?

I am in my mid 30's, not currently married and consider myself to be an independant, intellegent, forward thinking woman.

However, I really want to settle down with a man who wants to "take care of me" meaning he works and I take care of the household and him and maybe work p/t.

but not a white supremesist. i cant think of anthing that whites are supreme at. blacks seem physically superior and asians seem intellectually superior etc. but i see non cosmetic differences. do you? or do you think that whites are just lighter skinned black people with strait hair.

Seriously whats wrong with our society. We guarantee all these freedoms and rights, yet we're still way messed up. Slaughterin Amish schoolgirls execution style? Babies born addicted to crack and PCP? Kids bringing guns to school? Politicians and priests exhibintg hypocritical behavior (i.e. anti-gays going on gay chats and priests forcing little boys to suck them off). Hate crime, self mutilation, mental disorders on the rise, dependence on drugs, blowing off opur money on big environment killing cars and ticky tacky houses just so people can hide behind an illusion of 'normalness' when really, NOBODY is?

Does anyone else see this? People are in denial about everything. They don't even know themselves. Actually, they do, they just don't accept it. All these problems are not the inevitable 'bad' parts of society - they're the result of the bad parts of society.

What do you think?

Honestly, I am not trying to pull a joke nor am I trying to be sarcastic. The Bush Regime had about 4 group of people.

1. The Corporations = Cheney, Exxon, The Scowcroft Group

2. The Jews who were promised full security for Israel and wealth if Bush won the White House = Canadian Frum, Wolfowitz, Perle, Kristol, Libby , Kissinger ect....

3. Joe Wilson & others who really thought they were serving the United State but got the boot for working

4. The Christians who really thought that Bush was a man of God. The Christians that really wanted a moral United State. The Christians that were concerned about the direction of the United State after two fags kissed on stage celebrating the victory of Bill Clinton. The Christians that were concerned about the rising crimes in the United State. I share all of your concerns too but you guys just jumped on the wrong boat.

Maybe us Christians should just give people like Rush and O'Reilly the boot for helping to screw us huh
