I've noticed how nice they are. I think that in Latin countries, black people are viewed differently. They are not hung up on their race. "Mi *****/a" (my black one) is used as a term of endearment towards a black person. Also, the exotic beauty of black women is celebrated. I feel more at home with them. I'm sick of, constantly, hearing about racism (from a certain group.) I know that racism is a reality, and everyone is subjected to it at some time, but, always, arguing about it has me tired. What do you all think?

Over and over again, I see questions from people who have obvious and cliched hatred towards certain coutries or groups of people, ie immigrants, iraq, muslims, christians, etc etc. Do people feel this way because they are 'brainwashed' by the media/politics etc? Or, if you look deep inside yourself, can you really bring yourself to hate another human being you don't even know, just because they have a different way of life? Personally, I think there is a much bigger agenda which manipulates people into a certain way of thinking, and that if they looked deep inside themselves, maybe they would see things differently. What do you think?

my friend recently asked me if i thought she was racist, and i couldnt decide. heres the story, tell me what you think.

according to my friend, everytime she sees an african american person, she is NOT MEAN but EXTREMELY NICE and overwhelmingly friendly to them. if she bumps into a white person, shell just be like, sorry. but if she bumps into a black person, she makes a big deal with, OH EXCUSE ME, IM TERRIBLY SORRY, DIDNT SEE YOU THERE!!! :)

she told me that she feels almost like she has to overcompensate for african americans, bc she feels like if she doesnt exaggerate her friendliness, they will think she hates black people.. or smthng like that


so does that consider her a racist?

America, the melting pot. not the first melting pot, nor the last. english people are genetic descendants of many races, and yet now we consider them to be a race. every race out there is like that, a grouping and regrouping of different races. we see this evinced by the languages produced when two cultures unite. now then, can we please stop saying i'm (whatever)-american and just say I'm American? this goes for white folks too... you're not "AN" American, just like the boy from beijing is not "A" Chinese. get the verbage right and we may be able to break out of this racism. i also think we should remove the "what's your ethnic heritage" question from the census and everything else. most of you do not hail from the countries that you claim as your heritage, so you are not technically anything but american. thoughts?

I think it would be nice to have an adult yahoo answers.
Not adult as far a being sexually graphic but just adults asking and answering questions. That would eleveate so many of these hateful and kid type questions I would think. So many questions are asked by kids and teenagers which is fine but at times it would be nice to have more adult type questions.

I have this friend that loves to poop on the garden!!! I dunno why and whenever i go to her house she is doing it! it´s so gross! I have told her that I don´t like that but she keeps on doing it..I make her promise everytime not to do it when I go to her house and she says that she won´t do it again and then suddenly she runs to the garden and do it and she gives me a big smile while pooping! I don´t know what to do ! it drives me mad and she is a great friend and I don´t want to loose her because of this..what should I do?
