Just out of curiosity I have always wondered how other people view Australians. Anything and everything anybody has ever thought. Are Aussie's odd?

I don't think Australians are odd. I think all of the Aussies I have talked to here on Yahoo Answers are super friendly and very cool!! In the US, we really like Australians, especially the accents. OK so, when I was a young kid, I think I had an idea in my head that alot of Australians were very strong and rowdy people who wrestled crocodiles all day and lived in the outback. I think seeing movies like Crocodile Dundee, put this idea in my head. But then as I got older I learned that Australia is pretty similar to here with big cities, suburbs and rural towns. I think the personality types of Australians are probably as varied as they are here and in every other country in the world. I hope I can make a visit to the land down under some day!

Hi,
Geographically speaking, Australia is a very flat country for it's land mass size. The highest mountain is Mount Kosciuszko and that is only 2228 high.
About 90% of the population live on the coastlines of Australia.
Australia has a lot of sun all year round but doesn't take advantage of using solar energy.
Vinny if you ever get the chance to come down under you will be welcomed.

the odd things tend to be the good things about australia
no class system
tolerance of everyone
politicaly aware people
we all vote no matter what
religion is just that a religion and there all tolerated or ignored equaly
good isnt it !

I like aussies..I guess the strangest thing is the accent- "deefeeneetly!" ("definitely") But I guess our yank accent is probably a laugh to you.

I Love Australian's. I have family close to Perth and i would love to go there. I dont think they are strange
