And please do not post the list of afro-american inventions. I am talking strictly ******* inventions that had no white american influence like the mechanism to change the timing of the traffic lights.

To all my brothers and sisters, I'm hurt. It seems that we can't have "Black Pride" anymore because no one wants to be black. We want to be carmel, light skinned, dark skinned, etc. However, doesn't all of our birth certificates have something along the lines of colored, *****, black, etc? When it boils down, why do you consider one group of people within our own race better than the other because their skin is a certain color, or their hair is a certain texture. This hurts me. Last night a friend called me "chocolate" while she was supposedly "light skin" for no reason at all. My question is why do we fight for our rights and what not when we can't even end racism within our own race. Please, let's stop this ignorance. We can never advance until we realize first that we all have a common bond. That bond is, we are all of one people. I'm not trying to offend anyone at all, I'm just trying to say what's been hurting my heart. Thanks.

Dont you think that if every person in the United States said that they were American and put it on a test, census, job application, license, or any form that ask you your race, ethinicity, and so on., we will no longer be compared to one another? Staticians and researchers would no longer have have the information to compare us from one another. Will those criticizing america and claiming that these prisoners are not terrorrists stand behind their claims and allow these prisoners to be released into their custody and live under house arrest in their own personal homes????? or do they want these released into america's society or deported back to their country to possibly attack and kill americans overseas and in the usa????

I am american japanese. My parents were imprisoned in hawaii after the attack on pearl harbor. it was only reasonable to imprison japanese citizens and american citizens of japanese descent without reason. the middle eastern and north african culture is a very inhumane, violent culture yet many americans are against holding them. This makes no sense and would let me beleive that those presenting these thoughts have learning disabilities.
