I think people need to stop getting offended so much and cursing the guy out. to all the people who answered the question calmly, thank you. I don't think he was trying to be funny. its just a fact that blacks DO have the lowest I.Q. in the united states. Black people need to stop getting mad when people say things that are true, unless its stereotypical. Anyway, he is culturally mixed too. I guess sometimes black people don't like to accept facts. But i do agree that I.Q has absolutely nothing to do with intelligence and everyone regardless of what color they are, are capable of learning.

It isn't possible that because someones skin is very light that they are genetically smarter then darker skin people. That's ridiculous, its due to background and upbringing. It's also due to economic background, if you are extremely poor and don't have much to eat it's kind of hard to concentrate in school. Also some Black people can't afford the college ed, and the neighborhoods don't have the higher quality schools that upper class communities do. I think you should try looking at people as individuals, a person intellect and personality is due to how they were raised and their circumstances, as well as genetics.

Note: all blacks do not have low IQs. I know you didn't say all blacks, but I just wanted to put that out there.
I think there are a few things that hinder black students from getting higher IQs. (This does not apply to all black students) First of all, some idiot went around saying school is uncool. That message was aimed toward young black kids. (or seemingly cause it seems to affect black kids more...from my perspective) Some black kids, who think they're cool, tease other kids (including black kids) about being smart. The other kids don't want to be teased and they want to fit in so they just adopt the school is uncool theme. Then they don't pay attention in class and don't get all the material. Then they are put into lower level classes with the "school is uncool" kids and they are loud and actin' stupid in the back of the class while the teacher teaches. The teacher, pretty much gives up. Right about here the black student will either join the "school is uncool" kids cause they want to fit in or because the teacher isn't teaching so why pay attention. They are still not getting the material. OR they can go to the guidance office and switch out of that class. (depending how far into the year it is by then). Eventually, they will push themselves to learn or they will give up cause they feel it's a continous cycle. Either way, the IQ is low.
This is based on a true story about me and a few other kids. I don't know my IQ. I was in a math class that had kids who would never shut up. I didn't know how to transfer out. Also, the school I was in said that all class decisions were final and there was no switching out. The teacher(s) wouldn't teach cause they couldn't control the class. When I finally got into a position to better myself (high school) I was just starting Algebra 1a. (I took the 1a course because I was so convinced it would be too hard for me. But it turned to be really easy and I wish I had done a more challanging class)
But all that to say, it starts with peer pressure.

Your claim that blacks are "the low part of everything all the time" is just flat out wrong. All whites don't have higher IQs than all blacks and all Asians don't have higher IQs than all whites.
In addition, despite the pseudoscience of The Bell Curve and such that are so popular with racialists (people who look to race to explain social differences), group IQ scores are not fixed and have been changing over time. .
Inheritance obviously does play a part in determining intellect, but it doesn't follow that differences between groups are determined by genetics.
Look at group differences in height. Genetics obviously plays a roll in determining a person's height. As a result, it was once almost universally believed that blacks and whites were just genetically taller than Asians because so many Asians were shorter on average, than others. Then it was realized that the diets of most Asian countries accounted for almost the entire difference because Asians who were raised in Western countries tended to grow taller. Interestingly, they didn't catch up in height in a single generation. But over time, those western Asians grew taller and moved towards the average for other westerners.
Intelligence is a lot more complicated than height and is impacted by diet, culture, health of the mother, environmental factors during early brain development, lots of factors. It's a lot easier to believe that "genetics" explains differences in group IQs than to grapple with how much we actually don't know about human intelligence.

No one is genetically smarter due to their skin color. It's more about environment and culture, Blacks in the U.S. tend to fall into the lower or middle classes so they don't get the higher education that rich people get. I am Nigerian American and it seems that Black Americans culturally are more into music and sports then in higher education. NOT ALL, but it is more popular in the community to be a rapper or basketball player then a professor or scientists. But remember their are always exceptions my IQ is high and I am almost a college grad at Georgia State, and everyone in family has gone or is going to college.

I haven't had my IQ tested but I'm black. I would have to say that it would have to do with the type of education that most blacks get. Because generally some are discouraged by parents to go to school, but to stay home with their siblings and take care or them. And even a few of the ones that do have the education, its not like we know everything, there are some tests that are just majority(white) based, that we as blacks don't know about like that. Not that we are stupid, but how are we to know something like that when some of the schools we go to, don't have all the text books and different things like that to help us learn, like other majority races.

I don't think your question is stupid. Blacks do not have the lowest I.Q. in the United States. No particular group does. Sometimes people, like albert einstein (who could not read) for example , are born with high intelligence. And those people often lack other things in life like social skills. Others create their high I.Q. by gaining different levels of education. Granted not everyone is like that, but its a good example to review. But no race is born genetically smarter than any others.

Statistics don't lie bud. Who knows why it is. I am a white male 23 years old and my IQ is 138. My parents aren't doctors or anything I guess its just how you percieve things as you grow up that affects you intelligence.

IQ has a lot to do with education. When you are very gifted, but you never studied, than you score very low on an IQ-test.
The relation between education and smartnes is far more greater than the relation between gens and smartnes.
With this in mind, you maybe want to rephrase your question.
