I am doing an assignment on racial stereotypes...what are some racial stereotypes of East Indians??? i am indian so i don't really know too much about the stereotypes...So what comes to your mind when you think of India and Indians.

(if you want an example of what i mean by stereotypes here is one...many people think that us Canadians live in igloos)

So what are some stereotypes similar to that about Indians...tell me what you think!!!

I have noticed especially in the south that Black people are far more racist than White people. This is of course personal experience and since I'm from the north when I moved to the south it shocked me. perhaps its a matter of perspective but thats how I feel so...Why?

OK, I live in Milwaukee, and was wondering about this question? I am a 40-38-42, and I have blonde hair and blue eyes. I got a big ol butt, and black men appreciate my shape. I am not perfect, (I have a few areas to work on) yet I am beautiful, inside and out, I do eat food, and have been told I am hot, yet strip clubs refuse to let me work for them, based on my shape. What is considered attractive? I have been called "unmarketable", this being by a white club owner in a black neighborhood with black clientele-black men love thick women, especially women like me. A club owner told me that I was too big to audition for him, and that he'd been in the business 10 years-I wouldn't make any money. What kind of girl would you like to see in a club, and what do you prefer? And is it true that all strippers are prositiutes?

white means = americanized bland with no heritage and albino
caucasian means= a variety of heritages that stem from the caucus mountains with a variety of skin hair eye colors

I happen to think they're hilarious. Not to mention a good way to thin out a party that's running too late! However, some disagree.

am a high school junior and went to a party last saturday night where there was 5 cheerleaders and like 3 football players there. I thought really it was going to be just kinda hanging out, having pizza, and some drinks but we ended up playing an adult board game and the guys all had to get naked. We all took off our clothes at the same time and once the underwear came off, these guys were like 5 inches and I was standing there with an inch in front of Courtney, Tiffany, Paige, Elizabeth, and Kayli. I was so embarrassed. Of course the card said we had to remain nude for 10 minutes. We then had to sit on the couch. The girls came out of their room in their cheerleader outfits, and they paraded in front of us. Some bent over and showed their panties, but again when we all got erect, I was just 3.5 inches while they were like twice as big. I also leaked fluid. Am I just a total loser with no self control. Should I have just left the party once the naked game started? Will I live it down

Since we live in a society ruled by sterotypes. I often find myself being critizied for not being a typical sterotype, I'm blk and a female but I'm not a hip hop hoochie. I happened to like independent films and prefer sake and taquila. It just amazes me that in the 21 century we (human beings in general) are automatically put in these neat little boxes and personallity is not taking in to consideration. Is there anyone out there with some good advice on how to handle this situation with out going postal.

I wanted to have a girl so bad. Now that I am pregnant for a few months I went to the doctor and found out it was a boy. I am heartbroken and sad. Should I give this one up for adoption. This makes me so mad when some Black men do this. I used to date a very sexy guy for 2 years and he was Latino and were very deeply in love. But I got so much hate from a lot of Black guys in my neighborhood and they keep on saying "why are you trying to sell out" and it really got me mad when one of them had told my boyfriend that I was only after his money and I wanted kids with good hair. So not true, I love him with all my heart and he volunteered to pay for a lot of my stuff and I never want any kids I'm 16.These guys even tried to jump my boyfriend when he was taking me out to trian station to go to the mall. Most of these Black guys who keep saying these things have dated non-black women and have talked trash about how black women aren't this or that. I date a man not because of his color but because of his love for me. Why are there so many double statandrads in the Black community when a Black woman dates interracially?

It seems like anything and everything can be used by Blacks to file a lawsuit about racial discrimination. Other minority groups rarely seem to get so angry when little things happen to them, but Black people stage a protest anytime some thug or gangsta gets shot. Sometimes I think it's because a lot of minority groups other than Blacks are too busy out in the real world WORKING hard to make a real difference in the lives of their families and communities. Do Black people just whine because they're too lazy to take responsibility for their lives?
