I hate the lack of pride
white means = americanized bland with no heritage and albino
caucasian means= a variety of heritages that stem from the caucus mountains with a variety of skin hair eye colors

i call myself white cause my skin is white and not caucasian. and caucasian is usually not in the choices when you fill in the bubble!

I hate people who are proud of something they never accomplished. you were born white, or caucasian, or whatever, so why be proud? you didn't do anything to be proud of. you didn't overcome any tragedy to deserve pride. racial pride is the fundamental element in racism, something that all races share. instead of being proud of where your ancestors come from, why not realize that all races are elementally the same? when was the last time you visited the caucus mountains? do you have a country home in the motherland? interesting that you would mention africa, being an entire continent, and then a mountain for your own origin. would you not just be asian? there you go, you're asian. now you can have asian pride. but in the mean time, why don't you go save a whale or eliminate poverty in africa and then you will have something to be proud of.

Some of us were born in raised before the days before the phrase "african american" was created. Back then you were either white or black or asian. Why should I change being white? You can be white and claim nationality anywhere.. my heritage of the country where I was born and raised is more important than the color of skin I have.

I don't worry about it.
I am what I am, and being called white or caucasion makes no difference. It's usually the ones with a problem with race that worry so much about the labels.

I call myself white because I am french, english, irish, german, russian, and pacific islander. Perhaps instead of white, I should call myself mutt, because I don't have a single country to identify with.
