Most of what is played on American radio today is boring and repetitive. I listen to Korean artists such as Se7en, Rain, 1TYM, Kiss..., Japanese artists such as Hamasaki Ayumi, Do As Infiniti..., Vietnamese artists such as Nhu Quynh, Cat Tien, Minh Tuyet, Manh Quynh, Lil Knight..., etc. (the original stuff) They are so much better than most of mainstream America today.

I am white and I love all Bollywood music.
I also like Japanese music, especially Pizzicato 5.
I think lyrics play a big part on loving some kind of music, and not many caucasian people can understand asian language to a point where they can appreciate their music.
I personally think the actual music and the body language of the singers is enough to make me enjoy a tune.

Oh, I love Asian music! Unfortunately, as an American person with few Asian friends and no ability to read much of any Asian language, it's immensely hard to find it, you know?

And if you want something other than sugary techno bubblegum J-pop or angry loud J-rock (I'm just using Japanese music as an example, since it's mostly what I seek out), it's pretty much impossible to find good music on your own, without someone who's navigated the waters before and can make recommendations. It's just hard because normal places (like Amazon.com, etc.) don't carry much of it.

But I really like it, and I bet if more people had access, it would have a bigger following.

What kind of Asian music? I like the music they play in Kabuki. But if you mean modern Asian pop music I really haven't heard any. What about other races - do black and Latino people like Asian music?

If you include India, then yes I love a lot of Indian music.

By the way, there is a big difference in the term "Asian" from British to American usage. In Britain it refers to people from the Middle East and in America to Far Eastern. If you are British you may think you are asking about Iran, India, Saudia Arabia, etc. but Americans answering your question will think you are asking about Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc.
