because english people are sexier and aren't as loud or fat or gun crazy
and look....the canadian's sitting on the fence.....i can't say i'm surprised

God! What a question. Yanks are descendants of the English. They would probably be on the same thinking level but not better than them. Each of them has their good and bad sides. If it's about the Iraqi war, the English are supporting the Yanks.

NONE I am Canadian and as far as I am concerned we are all equals. Yes The English can do somethings better than others and Canadians can do things better than the English and the US can do things better than Canadians. All in all we are all the same. We all have great sports players, inventors, doctors and such so one thing out weighs the other. In my experiences the English are friendlier and less self centred than the "Yanks"

We the English are better than the yanks because our prime minister and most of the cabinet are Scottish. Scottish men wear frocks and do lots of girly dances.
We are also better than the yanks because our Prime Minister does exactly what the US government tells him to, we know our place and that is to be subservient to the yanks!
Simple innit
Mind you it could be worse - we could be canadians (heaven forbid)

I don't know about the English but the Scots are well better than the lot of you!
And as for the man saying Americans invented the Internet, none of that would have been possible if the telephone hadn't been invented by Alexander Graham Bell - A Scotsman!

Because England has a long and glorious history, not just a bunch of refugees from the 1800's. (And we didn't have to steal our land from the Indians)
They speak our language - or at least claim to, why couldn't they have got their own if they are so clever and such world leaders?
And the big one - we would never have voted George Bush into power.

Common sense, A sense of the rest of the world, sense of opening your ears and not your mouths (Conversation is a two way thing) and most importantly, a sense of humour (Gee like whats sarcasm)
