In my younger years, I played and saw the horrendous after effects this had caused. In return, I too suffered as the victim to this act.
Is it a forgivable offence?

i know you say you are born that way, but what makes it so, what make up inside your body makes you attracted to the same sex instead of the opposite sex, i am in no way saying being gay is wrong, i ask becuase the original make up of our bodies for sex was to of course have babies, but gays cant do this, so what is it about the make up inside the body of a gay person that makes you just attracted to the same sex, please dont rant about other ways to have babies nowadays, because if you put 2 lesbians on an island or 2 gay men on an island they cant have children, thanks again

When someone who is straight claims that homosexuality is a choice and yet when discussing his own sexuality says this: >>I can't help that I'm straight. I was born this way. I think I should be treated as equally as anyone else here<<<

Now I don't like to point fingers or anything and I mean no disrespect but isn't this a little bit contradictory? He wants to be treated well and no reason why he shouldn't be treated well, but, if his claim that sexuality is a choice he can not say that he can't help but be straight but not give the same consideration to homosexual orientation.

No offense intended. Just seems to me that if a person constantly says gay is a choice can not in the same breath claim he has no choice but to be straight. Seems to me to be something wrong with this assertation.

here's the thing...
I've come to a conclusion that i may very well be in love....
with my best friend. I'm an 19 yr old girl and havent found anyone like her who makes me laugh, and cry the way she does... when i'm with her i wish i was the guy she's nevere had, and i just want to spend the rest of my life with her.
i've never met anyone like her...she's smart...capable(sp) to have alot of friends but would rather spend time with me...

I know im not gay, cause someday i want someone to hold me in his arms and i want a family and kids...and i very much like what men have :)
what the hell do i do?

ask me if you want me to explain our daily relationship... you'll know why i'm so confused about myself

when we didn't have the technology of today! life was simple and slower, not the rat race we have today.
my daughter is an A grade student, but we live in the North of England, her tutor has advised her not to bother with going on to a Law degree, for there is little chance of a job at the end. This is due to the multitude of students all cramming for the same positions within a Barristers chambers, which there are few, so only the rich get by offers of gifts and meals out.
when I was a kid, and Im only 35, you could get a job anywhere, if you didn't like it you could just change. Now the stress put on the young is astronomical, it is no wonder that so many of them burn out while still young.

When he's acting totally out of character and is usually well balanced and asks for what he needs?

But recently is resorting to manipulation and behaving like a big tart, when he knows full well my tolerance for such emotional outbursts is minimal.

I don't want to lose him as a friend but his behaviour is making me go ewwwwwwwwww!

Most ppl are telling me to dump him and my natural instinct when confronted with this type of behaviour would be to do just that, but I can't just walk away because 1) I also have a business relationship with him which requires notice and 2) he has been a good friend in the past and this type of behaviour is only recent since he dumped his old boyfriend and found a new man. So I think it's only fair to give him a chance. Unfortunately, I am getting very upset mainly because I feel my friend has been captured by aliens and he has been replaced by this big snivelling girlie thing.

Am I being too fair, or am I being a total b*tch?

Whose sick of the quesions "am i Gay??"
whats worse is many of those are asking things like. i can dance so am i gay; i can cook so am i gay; is liking a particular band gay.

Don't you realise that Gay is the attraction of one person to the same gender. nothing to do with what you do, what hobbies you have and what you sound like.

Does anyone aggree?

I'm thinking for religious reasons... but I'm not religious...
I read a book stating that the real reasons people oppose gay marriage is because they "think it's repulsive" and so on...
My hypothesis is as good as yours, but I think people might even be intimidated by gay people. I'll give someone (who thinks gay people shouldn't be married) 5 bucks to live with a gay person for 1 day. :)

I'm not gay btw.

I am a crossdresser and I am planning to visit UK in December. In your opinion, would the Brits be more tolerating if they saw a crossdresser.

I live U.S and depending on where you go, reaction can be mixed, i.e New York City can be more welcoming compared to a city in the south.
