A truly silly question indeed! It's a little like asking if black people are less intelligent than white or Londoners less intelligent than Geordies.
I wonder what on earth made you even consider the possibility that it may be true?
I am straight but have a lot of highly intelligent gay friends.

Most certainly not. They are people like everyone else and they were born in the same way and conceived in the same way. They go to school,college etc in the same proportions as the non gay people so they are just as intelligent as all others. In all classes or groups there are always the less intelligent and the super intelligent. This to me sounds like a back door homophobic statement.

No it is not true. There are many intelligent people that are gay. Have you ever heard of Plato. He was considered one of the most intelligent philosophers of any time and he was gay. There are intelligent gay people who have probably influenced your life in many ways, you just don't know it.

No, I am bi and my iq is at least 140. Anyways how does intelligence and sexuality go together? Your intelligence is created by your genetics, familys past. But you can always study more to become smarter. But thats beside the point. But to answer your questions there are straight people that are basicly 'retarded' and same with the lgbt community. Its just a homophobeic thing to think of it like that.

you dont undestand the most important thing: it doesnt matter who you like, or if you are gay, heterosexual, tall, ugly, pretty....the important thing is if you are intelligent since you was born, or if you studied many hours. i dont know where did you hear that, but is totally false, i know more people intelligent gay that heterosexuals so........
