I am a crossdresser and I am planning to visit UK in December. In your opinion, would the Brits be more tolerating if they saw a crossdresser.

I live U.S and depending on where you go, reaction can be mixed, i.e New York City can be more welcoming compared to a city in the south.

A bit of common sense is required. Dress sensibly and be confident most people are too busy during the day to look closely at passersby but late at night when the "boys" have had a few drinks and are looking for fun or trouble is not a good time for a girl to be about on her own and certainly not a transvestite. I don't pass very well although my mistress says I look okay but I dress my age and nothing flashy and I have never had a problem.

Well first of all the only way to find out how the UK will react is to just do it. If you feel comfortable doing it GO FOR IT! I am sure they are used to it in the larger cities there too!

I take it you are likely straight as most crossdressers are.

It depends how you dress to be brutally honest. I had a few friends that dressed 'normally' e.g like your average female and although people might look twice as they walked past they never got any rude comments or anything like that. People are generally very tolerant in the UK. However I also knew someone who, at 6ft 4 inches tall and of very big build walked around in a very tight pvc minidress, stockings and black stilettos, with makeup that'd make a hooker look classy. He did get comments and stares, and people laughing in his face. But overall I don't think you'll have a problem. Enjoy your visit to the UK!

Theres a guy in my town who dressses as a girl because his parents were nutters who wanted a girl so raised him to dress like one and he gets quite alot of abuse shouted at him in the streets and also alot of people stand up for him and tell the abusers to f*** off however in the bigger cities this is a bit more tolerated.

What is in your head?
Where does your kind come from?
Why are you not what you are?
