I think it's because he's young and thats why he acted that way.
When my friends and I get together, we always laugh at ourselves when we remember the swinging, single, just-came-out days, because we asked our partners variations of the same question after the first time we slept with them:
"Are we a couple already?"
As a young person, it could be a way to validate how they're feeling, which is normal. Especially since they're feeling they're way (pun intended) around things (yes, it's too easy, haha)
Talk it over with him, especially if you don't feel the same way. Don't leave him hanging so that he will see that (in case you arent interested in him THAT way) it's possible to go on dates with men and not be pressured into anything more than the date.

Many gay men, especially when young, make the mistake of jumping from boyfriend to boyfriend. Let's be realistic--how can you be a "boyfriend" with a guy you just met and don't even know? That's a trick, not a boyfriend. If you or anyone really wants love, you need to get to know the person before you have sex with him so you have a foundation for a relationship. In the gay and straight worlds, relationships based on sex do not usually last. Forget him, he's on to the next boyfriend by now.

I quess it all depends what you are looking for. If you want a f**k buddy then keep him around. If you are looking for love, your in the wrong place. You even say that you "don't have feelings for him"..Have him and others, safely, until you find the right person. Also, you are 27 and he is 19.....find someone alittle more close to you own age.
Good luck buddy.
