Or is it more about LGBT culture?

We already know that being gay is not a choice and that was proven in the 1970s (people who still deny that almost 4 decades later are obviously not very intelligent).

And there's a debate about whether its a gene or not and the evidence it stronger supporting that theory, but the evidence isn't strong enough to make it fact.

We know that they've found gay animals:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7RlTAyNI8WE
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Against_Nature%3F
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-human_animal_sexual_behavior

Although it may be illgeal to clone humans, its still bearly legal for animal cloning in some countries. And since cloning makes an exact copy of that animal in every way with its identical DNA, then surely if they cloned a gay animal and they found that the clone was also gay, then that would prove that it is in the DNA?

Please don't involve God in the debate since that isn't a real argument and this a scientific question, not a religious one.

A friend of mine, who works for a major supermarket, suffers constant abuse and receives little effective suppurt from her colleages.
Another has been refused funding for facial hair removal, an essential if she is to transit effectively..

Now that I've got our attention- I've noticed the media portrays most gay relationships as 'open' or 'uncommitted,' where the
couple is together, but allowed to sleep around and fool around with other men while in the relationship. Why is this such a phenomenon in gay culture? Why is it allowed? Why is the prominent portayal of gay couples not one of complete fidelity?

Why don't such gay couples hold themselves to the same standards as straight couples- where any sort of cheating/fooling around outside the relationship is not permitted without any angst?

Hopefully I don't sound too ignorant- this would help me understand why/how/how many gay couples actually want marriage rights like straight couples, but don't necessarily hold themselves to the same standards (not to say that all relationship standards of straight couples are high).

Her mother thinks she is a lesbian. I told her not to think this and even if she is that it was ok. What do you think??? Is she or what?? Thanx...

Ok, So I have had a girlfriend and I had my first kiss with her, and I really felt something, we kissed for like 3 hours no kidding! But I am physically attracted to guys more than girls, but no matter the guys personality I am not mentally attracted to them. They could be really nice, and act like one of my best friends that is a girl but I wouldn't like him mentally. I get along with girls alot more than guys, and I am still kind of attracted to girls. But I am attracted to guys more so physically, I dont know what I should do! Alot of people at my school think I am gay, and I really dont know why! Probably cuz' all my friends are girls, but they really dont know! Anyways... Help!

I'm a 19 year old guy. i split with my girlfriend recently and well have been wanting to experiment - even when i had the girlfriend. i mean like obsessively thinking about it (like not sleeping much). I'm really only interested in trying it. I've never wanted to do it on the basis of attraction just interest. I have no interest in kissing guys or having any sort of emotional relationship.

I'm set up to try it on thurs but really nervous about it. Should i try it? If i do does it mean i'm gay? does it mean i'm going to hell?

I know cuz of my friends that care about me and support me. Without them, the fight would be long and unfruitful.

I love my friends and I thank them a lot!!
Do you remember to tell your support system that you love them, too?

Alright, well I was just wondering if theres was a way to tell if someone was into other chicks. I knows theres really nothing solid until you actually ask them. But I really dig this girl I know, and I always feel like shes flirting with me and we just kind of click. I could just be getting flirting messed up with her just being friendly, but I don't know, and I'm starting to fall for her. Any help would be great, and I know theres other questions that have been asked like this, but the answers on those didn't really help. So if you could, let me know what you think.

I myself am neither an ardent proponent of being pro-choice or pro-life...I'm best described as agnostic in ways. I'm not sure what position I should take...but that's not the question. Please read and you'll understand my question.

What I know is that today many 'special' children are aborted because we have the medical technology to make women aware of this, and apparently some women chose to abort these children.

This question is geared towards the pro-choice people.

Say we genetically find out if a person will grow-up homosexual (which many scientist think we'll be able to do), and because of that women decide to abort those children. I'm assuming your pro-choice when it comes to women aborting 'special' kids, (ie you believe it's a woman's chose and their body)...would you also be pro-choice when it comes to individuals aborting homosexual kids?

I've decided to offer this question to this forum first...so that I may get your perspective on this. ps. I'm a straight male.
