Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender - April 2007

Yesterday I posted a question on this board asking this question:

"Is it possible for a woman to get pregnant by having intercourse with another woman?"

For this question I got mocked and people got judgmental about it. What is wrong with people? Seriously??? I read on a medical website that said that man-on-man intercourse cannot lead to pregnancy, whereas woman-on-woman intercourse can lead to pregnancy. I just wanted to make sure if what the were saying is right or not. Then why you people jump down my throat saying I am uneducated and lack sense? Seriously, grow up everyone! All I was asking was for technical advice - not your close minded judgment.

Also English is not my first language, so should I have phrased my question in a different way, perhaps to make it sound like asking for technical advice rather than emotional opinion?

Is it that black women feel that my wife has robed them of me(I am black).Do white men feel that I have robed them of the chance to be with my wife(who is white). If this is true, do black women and white men feel that acting disrespectful and making dum conments under their breath will some how change the fact that we love one another and want to spend our lives together. Let it be known that my intention is not to single any one group out with this question. It's just that my wife and I don't get the same reaction from white women and for the most part black men. Please if you answer this question be honest (don't hold back), and if you have an opinion explain why you feel that way.One liners are for cowards.

Let's settle this argument once and for all: Is there actually a couple out there named Adam and Steve?

My buddy Steve is dating a guy named Phil, but he says he's never met anyone named Adam. I'm pretty sure there has to be an "Adam and Steve" somewhere (proving that God actually DID make Adam and Steve). No, seriously.....

For example...
Say that i love Lobster since the day i was born, but of course not everyone else does and would find it gross if they watched me eat it...but no one invited them to watch, right? And since the Bible says its an abomination to eat shellfish( Lev. 11:10) should i force myself to eat a pork chop instead? Even if i would throw up and starve to death?
And finally, why shouldnt i have the same rights as somone who is having the soup of the day? Shouldnt i be able to sit where i want in the restaurant? Shouldnt i be able to take the free condiments that everyone else gets?
Why cant people just keep their eyes and hands on their own plates and leave us Lobster lovers alone?

ahhh, my mother just came out yesterday to my sisters and aunts and uncles that she is a lesbian.
