Obviously there are many, and they pop put of the closet at random.

Wouldn't you call that sexual preference and not a valid platform for a party on the foundation of sinking sand?

I'm so unhappy being gay, I live in a country area in rural australia, and there's seriously no gay people live here! I have noone I can talk to, my parents have already told me I can't be gay because it's wrong and they'll kick me out if I'm gay - I can't tell them. I want to be straight, I tried to not be gay, but it won't work. I don't know what to do, my life's a mess, I'm unpopular and get teased at school, I don't want to go, it's getting too much to handle.
I know lots of gay people live in sydney, but I live a long way from there, and I feel like I'm stuck here, I seriously don't know how i can go on like this. Is there anyone out there that can help? I just feel I'm the only one like this.

I like this guy but I'm not sure if he likes me, my friend likes him too but she's naturally flirtatious and she doesn't like half the guys who like her. I want to be more comfortable around him because most of the time when a guy likes me it's because I'm being myself but I get so nervous around him please I need help, tell me how to talk to someone who makes my breath unsteady! please?

If pauline should be castigated why should one of you that answered not be castigated and literally thrown off the site. You only joined yesterday and you are showing a pic that is not suitable for the children that come on here.

Is everyone on here gay bashing, foreign (no offense to our foreign friends) or over the age of 10? I am an attractive, intelligent lesbian who would love to read and converse with other intelligent gay people. I'm new to this Yahoo question thing, but I'm guessing this is not the direction to go for intelligent conversation. Not that I have any questions to ask....so I guess I should stop my bitching and complaining. Maybe it's just pms. Ok, I feel better now......

Why do homosexuals & lesbians need to tell everybody their sexual preference? I'm straight and don't tell anybody my sexual preference. If someone wondered about it I'd keep them guessing. If I don't know it doesn't matter. I work with one known homosexual and he is good at his job, so it doesn't matter. If he didn't tell me I wouldn't know and it still wouldn't matter. Just a thought I had.

Why did everyone castigate Pauline_N for her question last evening. All she was trying to do was help someone to know about the next of kin she could have. I read all the answers and Pauline was correct. All the others were wrong like Pauline stated. What you did to her last evening was cruel and nasty. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves. I thought this site was about helping people not insulting them.

While I agree gays and lesbians should be allowed the same rights as straight people, Isn't marriage a typically religious thing? And because of this, shouldn't religions be allowed to choose who they marry? I think there should be civil union that give homosexuals the exact same rights as married straight couples, but I think forcing churches to marry gays and lesbians is a bit much.

Basically, shouldn't a church be allowed to follow it's own doctrine if it wants?

WASHINGTON - Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton told the nation's leading gay rights group in an unpublicized speech that she wants a partnership with gays if elected president.

Clinton also said she opposes the "don't ask, don't tell" policy regarding gays in the military that was instituted during her husband's presidency.

This is not a big deal but I decided to come on here just to find out what the general public has to say on this. Ok. I find it annoying that the man tries to control whether the woman can have a drug-free birth or not. (it seems like it's all or mostly on what "he" believes more-so than what she wants or needs). Shouldn't the birthing decisions be left to the woman and her doctor? I mean. common ! I know our men do so much for us or try anyways, but they don't realize or don't care about what we want when it comes to certain things. Hello! Maybe we are in pain? We generally carry a baby for 9 months (everybody knows that) and go through many obstacles to carry out those requests for ourselves and our partner. Anyways, I'm not trying to offend anyone. I just want to know how you all feel about this.

Or do you think sexuality is like a pendulum, and that we are all a little bit straight, and a little big gay?

I had a terrible experience with gay person. I am a straight man. Before I entered a Dental School I used to work as a dental assistant in Manhattan,NY. After few days of work I found out that the detnist I used to work with is gay. Before that, I remembered , that couple times he came up to me from behind and hugged me very tight. I wanted to throw up. Later, I let him know that i have a girlfriend and we live together. Thus, he told me that he's been married for more than 20 years, he has three sons and he is going through divorce. Also, he's lived with his male-partner(boyfriend) for couple years. Aftewards, he brought his sister ( who is lesbian) to work at the office.
Before I told him that I have girlfriend I had no problems working with him, everything was great. After I told him about my girlfriend his attitude changed a lot (he became irritated very easily, sometimes he didn't want to talk....). In a month he told me that I have to leave the office due to lack of skills.

everything came from god.
god apparently made a virus in monkeys that makes them sick (mutated to the HIV virus eventually) so... the original "target" was non-human primates. Or perhaps feline HIV was the original?
So logically
GOD HATES MONKEYS AND CATS!!!!

Do women view, think, react and feel sex the same way as men?
To clarify!!! We brought 100 men and asked them to have sex with a woman. 85% of them agreed. Then we brough 100 women and asked them to have sex with a man. Only 5% agreed. Why? Why women reacted not the same way as men did? Your thoughts are welcome.
