Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender - March 2007

I'm undergoing a full male-to-female transition. As far as coming out and changing at work? How would you recommend I change my clothes/makeup/hair styles? I work in a teen-oriented clothes store.

my point is it seems that many people dont have a problem with homosexual marrige, its just the old people that are affraid of change are the only people holding this nation back. so my question is who here would really go out, besides homosexuals, and help them in there attempt go have equal rights,?

Well im bi-sexual and i want to tell one of my close friends, i was going to tell her last night but i chicken'd out. So heres kinda how it went, i IM'ed her just normally like hi, whats up...and then i said that i was watching a show with gay people in it and i said it was gross, so she was like ok, then i asked her if she thought it was gross, she said no, because she has two bi friends. So i got exited then because i felt i could deff, trust her. But i didnt tell her because i got to nervouse....ANY TIP, ADVICE??? please!

I'm 21 and I have always thought that I might be a lesbian. I always said to myself oh I'll grow out of it. But the older I get the more certain I am that it's true. I feel no sexual attraction for guys whatsoever. I'm scared because I don't really have anyone I trust to confide in or talk about this. I feel like I'm all alone in this. I don't know if I'm ready to be out yet...but it's impossible to meet anyone in my situation since I'm not out. I wish I could just randomly meet someone who feels this way and who can help me through. I don't know how other people find the courage to just be so open about it. The more I think about this the more depressed I get and it's ruining all aspects of my life. I just feel like crying because I'm scared that I'll be alone in this forever. I never talk about me feelings....which made writting this very very difficult. If you are or were in this situation please give me some advice...thanks.

(btw im a boy for future ref) I've seen alot of great answers on other topics, but I have a very confusing situation.
Some people say just come out and tell your friends, if they're youre real friends they'll accept it. Well, I did kinda steer the topic into that a few times. I found out one of my friends (girl), is bi-sexual and she's going out with one of her friends (girl) that I've never met, because she moved to Iowa before I got to High School. She's not afraid to come out. She's "emo" on the inside, no slits though, she's an anime fanatic, dresses like a random clothes rack, and she's really open, but I dont know how to be open like her. I have another friend, he likes punk music, he's straight, doesnt know what a comb is (rofl), and says he accepts homosexuality, yet he only talks about him accepting that around me, does that mean he suspects me? I also have other friends that make jokes about homosexuals, and im scared to tell them.

Okay, here's the deal: I'm a fifteen-year-old girl. I started thinking I might not be straight when I was twelve (young, yes), and since then, nothing has happened to make me think I'm straight, or even bi. I've made out with two girls, and liked it. The boys I've dated have freaked me out - I didn't even let them hug me. As far as images go, only women turn me on. I get girly fashion magazines, and I never look at any of the "sexy" guys because they don't interest me. I've had feelings for at least four of my girl-friends. I dream, fantasize, etc. about girls. But people say I'm too young to know. I just can't imagine that all of these feelings could change.

So. Tell me what you think. Could all of this just be hormones raging in my teenage body? Or am I actually gay? Or could I be bi, and my feelings for men just haven't manifested?

He does have a family, but he's really neat and organized, and he never gets really angry at anyone. He has a son (who I'm friends with) and aan autistic daughter, and he is involved in the community in some questionable things. (ex: Garden club?) When I began Scouts, he was following me around. My parents say he cares for me, but I'm not sure if he cares a little TOO much. I feel kind of bad to cut down on him like this, because he's a nice guy, you know? Please help!
