A previous answer got me a little histerical... I hate it when ppl who DON'T HAVE A CLUE label us with roles. "She is the man of the relationship"??? OMG! LoL!!! its so funny how straight ppl think... They're so caught up in role playing, its hillarious!

THEY'RE A LESBIAN COUPLE! Which means they're BOTH WOMEN! thus meaning that there's NO MAN in the relationship... come on! is it so hard to understand??? times change people!

Now that I got that out of my system, lets to what we came for...

I think she has her own style. I mean Ellen has never gone along with what society has to say, so why should she respect an imaginary dress code???... its personal style. The fact that she's a lesbian has nothing to do with it. She likes it comfy, so she does it comfy...

it's just her style. I'm a straight woman and haven't worn a dress or a skirt in over 15 years. They don't feel right on me. I like pants. And I like sandals over any other shoe. If I could wear sandals during the winter months, I would.

I think Ellen is the "man" in her relaitonships. Her girlfriend that she is with now is usually in dresses and with makeup and very femine.

David Letterman always wears pants with sneakers and he's not a lesbian, at least I don't think he is. So, I would have to say "No, it's not a lesbian fashion craze".

No it's not because she is a lesbian....

That's like asking "why do girls always have long hair"... their is no real reason other than it is comfortable and good looking.

Degeneres just wears sneakers simply because it is comfortable... not because of her sexual preferance

Just the style of Ellen. She's not much of a haute coutuer lady.

Because she likes that style and she is a lesbian

I always wear pants but never wear sneakers, I guess that's why I'm bi, lol.

Just comfortable. Nothing else tied into it.

Me, I prefer jeans and sneakers. Is that because I'm Bi?
