Being gay, do you ever feel as though you have more insight into the larger scheme of things? the world? life? When I read the questions of people that have such a hatred and ignorance towards us, I can't help but feel sorry for them. They are missing the big picture. Sometimes I feel as though I have been given insight that other people don't seem to have. I realize that there are always going to be different kinds of people. Black, white, asian, hispanic, gay, straight. It doesn't matter who you are, everyone is unique and special. God created everyone different for a reason. We may never know why, but it does it really matter? Sometimes I feel like I'm ahead of my time; like I belong in another time, somewhere in the future; where people have just accepted things as they are. Why is it so hard for people to understand that there doesn't need to be an explanation for why people are they way there are? Why can't they accept that this is the way things are and run with it?

There is a married couple. The man or woman is bisexual. He or she sleeps with someone of the same sex. Would you consider this cheating?

What do you do if she stares at you? It was more than just a glance. It was more than that.

I have been working in non-profit (mostly with access to affordable housing) for the past couple of years, recently I was offered a great opportunity as a coordinator in a gay organization (I’m gay by the way) but I’m afraid to take this job because I’m afraid of being discriminated in the future when applying to different jobs, in non-gay related organizations. What should I do?

If we lived in a society society in which no one had sex and and there was no form of physical contact whatsoever, do you think people would still criticize homosexual relationships?

*There is more to a relationship than just sex.

I'm a pre-op transsexual, and whenever a man's interested in me I do wonder if he's just into the whole 'shemale' (I hate that term!) fetish thing, or if he's genuinely attracted to me for me.
Unlike a lot of transsexual girls, my **** still works (sorry to be so graphic!) and I do like to use it... or receive with it. But, once I have the funds I will be undergoing gender reassignment surgery so that my outsides match my insides.
But... it seems like post-op transsexuals have a tougher time than pre ops forming relationships--whether we're talking serious relationships or just one night stands. Why is that? Is it because pre ops are just seen as sex objects, whereas post ops are 'just another woman'? I don't get it... yes, I have a penis, but I hope that the men I date aren't with me ONLY because of that--I'd like to think that when I don't have it, they'll still be interested in me. Or am I being naive?

Come on, sisters, lighten up. I am a proud member of Dykes on Bikes and love to play softball, especially if there are trophies and a keg of beer after the game. Life is too short to be serious all the time, don't you think?

Is it wrong to have thoughts of killing yourself just because your parents dont agree with the person that you choose to be with, and the choice of lifestyle that i live. they dont understand who i am and where i am coming from. they tell me that i dont make sense.

I'm sick of Men my soon to be ex-husband is such a piece of **** and I just don't want to deal with it. I mean if I have a relationship with a woman, I could have some help around the house, help with cooking cleaning whatever. I jsut think it sounds right. I mean I'd rather hang out with a woman anyhow, its just the sex part, but I could get used to it...probably. Anyway what do you think?
