I had a terrible experience with gay person. I am a straight man. Before I entered a Dental School I used to work as a dental assistant in Manhattan,NY. After few days of work I found out that the detnist I used to work with is gay. Before that, I remembered , that couple times he came up to me from behind and hugged me very tight. I wanted to throw up. Later, I let him know that i have a girlfriend and we live together. Thus, he told me that he's been married for more than 20 years, he has three sons and he is going through divorce. Also, he's lived with his male-partner(boyfriend) for couple years. Aftewards, he brought his sister ( who is lesbian) to work at the office.
Before I told him that I have girlfriend I had no problems working with him, everything was great. After I told him about my girlfriend his attitude changed a lot (he became irritated very easily, sometimes he didn't want to talk....). In a month he told me that I have to leave the office due to lack of skills.

I had three years of experience and I had no problem working in my next dental office.
Should I have sued him for sexual harrassment?
Should've is fight put him in jail and take away everything from him, for lying to her and all other people?

You know good ****** question. I wish you did take some kind of measurements to protect yourself because of his retarded gayness. I have nothing against them but they need to understand that some of us have straight outlooks sexually and just because they are gay doesnt mean we have or pretend to be gay or pretend to be available for them so just we can peacefully work together. That is just such a bullshit! I kind of see how my boyfriend would of reacted to that. He would of been hurt and angry just like you are. We both from NYC and I have to say as much of gay community we have i learned to deal with this but when it comes to lying about your sexual orientation it is just lame. Imagine if your daughter one day talk to this guy who happened to be confused and bisexual. So he goes out with your daughter and try to get her in bed with him, when he slept with men before too. Wouldnt that be as ****** up too and wouldnt that drastically hurt her health if she dont wear protection? See that is the main thing i always afraid of. Meeting a guy who is hiding the fact that he like booty.
What you need to do and only if current notes on your resume are messing you up for next job is go back to that office and tell him to come up with a better and more honest (with him) reason why he had to let you go, because it wasn't lack of skills. It was because you are not like him, because you are not gay, because you are being judged with lack of skills because you are straight, that means less talented and skilled. Emphasize on how it offended you when right after you mentioned our straightness and your girlfriend things went downhill, and how he stopped acting professional around you because he was bothered by those two factors of your life. If that is not enough you can always get him on sexual harassment, because remember we would of kept our hands to ourselves and never hugged anyone (hint hint).

Sorry that you had a bad experience. It does not excuse your hatred and bigotry. Pardon me, but one hug does not sound all that terrible.
Did it ever occur to you that your lack of skills may have nothing to do with the sexual orientation of either you or the dentist? If it was directly related, then you have a sexual harassment lawsuit on your hands - pursue it if you have the evidence. Somehow I doubt it.
Should bigoted people go to jail for fomenting violence by using anti-LGBT hate speech? The answer is yes, and this is being enforced. I would not say that your question is doing that, since you are just relating a personal experience, but be careful. You are coming very close to this.

Sounds like he was a jerk, gay, but still a jerk. His being gay is not a factor, nor should you take his actions as being indicative of all gays, anymore than a criminal who is black is representative of all blacks, because he would not be.
Since you have left, move on and learn from your experience.
I should point something out to you though. I find it interesting that this has happened to you since it very much mirrors what happens to many gays every day, only with them, simply being gay gets them fired.
Hopefully you will come to understand, no harassment of any kind or firing for no reason is ever valid.

Amazing, you think this and claim you have nothing against homosexuality. You must be either bipolar or a hypocrite. I'll have to ask a psychiatrist. OH NO, WAIT! They might be gay!
No. There is absolutely nothing wrong with homosexuality. When will people realize that?

no, how would you like it if you pretended to be something you're not just because "society" dictates that it is more moral than something else and people said that you should get locked up for pretending to fit into what is considered the "norm", think about that and then in your heart answer your own question and see if you like how it is phased from the other side of the coin.

I don't think so. It's just human nature to want to fit in, but what happened to you is not nice. I used the 'n' word once a long time ago in the company of friends, 2 were ppl of color, and meant absolutely no personal offense. it was a term used to describe being a slave and cow-towing. I said, "who was your 'n' last week?" i got big laughs from everybody. except I was reported by a white guy. I ended up getting a really good job there b/c the ppl in charge thought I was a bigot! lol!! when they found out I was gay, or 'queer' to use their term, i got fired. life!

Sounds like to me that you are just upset at having been fired and you want something to gripe about. Why would he fire you if you were a good employee? He has a business to run he is not playing games.
How is that sexual harassment?
I don't even understand that last part you wrote. It would be a stretch to believe you are qualified employee if you can't put a simple sentence together.
