god apparently made a virus in monkeys that makes them sick (mutated to the HIV virus eventually) so... the original "target" was non-human primates. Or perhaps feline HIV was the original?

It's funny how everyone takes this question seriously.
I don't believe in god, per se, although I was brought up as a devout Protestant.
I have nothing against Christians or Christianity.
I'm just sick of people harassing me for being gay and saying that god created HIV to punish gay people.
Sarcasm, folks. I'm not stupid, though if you take this question seriously, it certainly would look that way!

What does this have to do with the LGBT issues area? What are you trying to imply here?
When one researches the facts, they see that HIV is an equal-opportunity virus. It will attack anyone, not minding their gender, orientation, race, eye color, etc.
Please remove this question from the LGBT area and ask it in the "disease" or "science" area if this was not meant to be a bigoted, anti-LGBT question.
If it was, shame on you!

hello you people that ask these stupid questions really should try opening your bible and reading it!! god loves everyone equally murders,drug pushers,ect.... he does not do things to "punish" us we do things to punish ourselves!!! i think you need to spend more time in church if that is your true beleif!! if you truly knew your bible you would know that jesus died for our sins as long as we ask for forgiveness and truly mean it god will forgive you,although you will have to answer for them when you reach the gates of heaven!! go read your bible hun you might find it intresting!!!!
