I seem to be quite "girly" but people are often suprised at how much of a geek I am (I mean geek as a compliment =) ), but I am going to a lesbian club tommorow and I'm not sure if I should mention that I enjoy my sci-fi, RPG and computer. I am not saying it's a bad thing but I don't want to bore people to death when it's my turn to share my interests. How should I "balance" my geekiness?

I have a friend who is divorced. She is raising a teenage son. She hates men and I think she is trying to turn her son gay. Sometimes when I visit her she has her son dressed in girl's clothes and he's playing with dolls. When I ask her about it, she tells me that he's happier wearing dresses and helping mom around the house than going out and playing with other boys. She said he likes wearing pretty things and she doesn't see anything wrong with it, if that's what he wants. In the magazine rack in the bathroom are Playgirl and a number of gay magazines along with magazines a teenage girl would read. Teen, Sassy, Seventeen, etc. Do you think this is just a phase he's going through?

The guy, Gary, is always really rude to me and will ignore me when I'm with my boyfriend Andy. gary had never met me before but he just blanked me when I tried to make conversation, he later told Andy that it was because he didn't want to appear flirty?! Anyway Gary starts texting my bloke weird messages after Andy cancelled meeting him to meet his other friend Des. He started saying stuff like "I wanted us to be like Bill and Ted...I wanted a gold trust with us". This has made me think that he might fancy my boyfriend, although he disagrees! I'm not really insecure or anything, but there's something about the guy that creeps me out,
he always says weird thinks about how he wants him and Andy to have something really special!
I don't know if I'm just being shallow but I don't know what to do! In my mind I don't want Andy to have anything to do with him! What do you think?

Clearly everyone judges others. We judge people on this site depending if we deam them a homophobe or homosexual/ We judge our mate as having traites superior ot others, as that is why we make a life commitment to that person. We judge people depending if they smoke, are overweight, drive SUV's, believe or disbelieve in global warming, ect.

In short, everyone judges everyone else to see who shares the same values as them, everyone does this.

So why is it wrong to judge a homosexuals actions if they are not the actions that I value?

Surly homosexualy are going to judge me and my post because it doesn't fit the way of thinking that they value. Right?

One of the most sweeping anti-gay bills ever introduced in any parliament in the world is in danger of rapid passage in Nigeria in the coming weeks. Although billed as a ban on same-sex marriage, the proposed law includes provisions that would make any expression of homosexuality - not only sexual conduct but any homosexual inclination or reference - in public or in private, a crime.
This draconian, far-reaching piece of homophobic legislation provoked a full-throated outcry from the globe's entire human rights community when it was introduced last year, and for a while it had been dormant. But now the bill has been fast-tracked for speedy passage in advance of Nigeria's national elections in April, and the BBC's correspondent in the country's capital of Abuja reported last week that "it is likely to be passed by both chambers of the Nigerian National Assembly by the end of March."
