No it's not fair but truthfully how much in politics and government really is fair.
We are all way over taxed and if you were to track the tax dollars you would see that so much of it is being carelessly spent and going to percs for politicians and there extravagant life styles.
The FAT needs to be cut out of the good ole boy network and the billions and billions of wasted dollars need to be returned to the people.
The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

Damn good point. If they allowed gay marriage can you imagine how much this Government would save on health insurance alone. But there's too many pros that outweigh the cons

No, it isn't fair. It's a Constitutional infringement, and I have a serious time understanding why it's not being remedied.

YES
You DO get the same treatment protected as a citizen of the US under the Constitution.
What you are mentioning are special privileges...and no you do not qualify.
For the comment below here is an example of special privileges...tax cuts for married couple! Need any more? Nothing is stopping you from marrying in a ceremony to devote your love to one person for life. Go out and do it if it REALLY is all about Love. Otherwise call it what it really is.
And I do not scream I just state the facts. Screaming is for unreasonable people with no real point to make.
Once again thumbs down for TRUTH. I am beginning to see a pattern in some folks behavior.

Of course it's not fair. Life isn't fair. We rise above it and get on with living day to day. And fight where we can.

No it isn't fair.
And for those screaming 'special rights and privileges', please enumerate those 'special rights and privileges' for wanting to marry another man.
