Wow....this question is an "easy to answer but hard to make out" style, isn't it? Seriously, though....emotionally, someone of the same sex can usually have the same insight into an emotional problem. Often they have have better "first-hand knowledge" of an issue than someone of another gender. Either way, getting emotional support from someone is about the support not usually who is giving it.

Well, being sexually attracted to someone is a big bonus........then there is trust, love companionship, good sex........the list goes on..........
What do err...straight people get from each other emotionally, I'm having a hard time working it out.........
