Wait! Wait!

Take your time and enjoy your youth.

First of all.. never trust men - They lie all of the time. EVERY chance they get. EVERY!

They are only out for ONE thing .. ONE!

Concentrate on school - your career - your future.

Date later.

Take it from me .. I'm one of those guys your mother warned you about.

Everyone has a different opinion about this, but if you feel ready and your parents having given you the OK, you could start now. However, keep to guys/girls in your own age range (dont go for someone much older or much younger) because they will be on the same page as you.

I started dating when I was 16, but I felt ready earlier than that. My parents however, were not ready to let me!

Nineteen is a good age. You're mature enough to start to understand the whole process.... which can be complicated :) Also... another rule is that at that age you should never date anyone more than 2 years older. That's just my opinion! :)

i'd say 14. 14 looks is once you first enter intense college and intense college sounds like an proper age to start up relationship. additionally boys mature way slower then females, so by skill of 14, they're finally out of the "cootie" area

Do group dates now and wait til you're like 16 to go on alone dates. I don't know how conservative your parents are but it might be easier to convince them to let you do that than be alone on a date.

depends on who you are into and if it'll hurt your family, etc....i see it says LGBT as your category. if you're out, i say dating is fine once you are a bit older, like 16. usually you are smart enough to make your own decisions without as much emotional involvement turning things to crap. plus, depends on how you define dating...sex and sexual activity should come later, esp if you aren't out, are unsure of your identity, or uncomfortable. i think sex should come way later anyway, just because i think it's better to wait, some people get stds and stuff early on and that's sad.

You are young. You don't need to be dating. You have so much to enjoy. Wait a couple more years. It will be for your own good. Think about being broken hearted....it's not fun. GOOD LUCK!

Whenever you feel that you are ready. There isn't a specific age, but there is a maturity level. As long as you know what you want, and how far to go, when to say yes and no, then your ready.
