Most of the time, no. But there are occasions where it has happened. Does this person know you are interested? If so have they made it clear that they want nothing to do with it? If so the I would have to say Not A Chance.
Try some subtle flirting and see where that takes you.

You cannot change someone else's orientation. The only way they can fancy you is if they are gay or bisexual, and actually like you. Even if the person is gay or bisexual, there's still no guarantee that person will fancy you.

If you are both girls I think it is very possible...I think some babes are straight but if they are hot when they see another hot girl they can get excited from the hottness...does that make sense? I mean since they are hot the really appreciate a hot babe, so in the right circumstance (after a few drinks) they can be had...well that is what all guys think anyway. if you are both guys, no way, no staright guy is attracted to another man...we find the mle physique repullsive...haha

In some cases maybe. I am a straight female and I have no interest in dating a female and I don't think I ever will. It just isn't my thing.

No.
Someone is either LGBT or they aren't, and you can't change that. They may want to experiment once or twice, but you can't change their underlying natural inborn sexual orientation.
