Does anyone out there know the implications of being out in the medical field? I'm especially interested in admissions into medical school...has anyone ever applied and think that they were treated unfairly because of their sexual preference, or do you feel like the medical school staff and school population in general was accepting, or at the least apathetic?

"Proponents of same-sex marriage have introduced a ballot measure that would require heterosexual couples to have a child within three years or have their marriages annulled."

I have used the same logic for years against the argument that homosexual relationships are "wrong" because they cannot naturally produce children. I think it is great that this group is taking it one step further to combat the prejudice that the gay community is facing.

And do you believe, as he claims, that his one and only extramarital affair was with the male prostitute who blew the whistle on him? Which begs the question, for those that believe him, what would possess an otherwise heterosexual man with no gay inclinations to pursue sex with another man?

Before my wife and I met I found an old diary of her's saying that she wonder would it would be like to have a woman as a companion and use a guy just for pleasure. Now, my wife use to be an exotic dancer down in Southern California and I try not to stereotype her or prejudge her. She told me later on that she did kiss a woman just to see if she could be bi or just gay but couldn't do it. I really don't know we're a generation a part and I know things are different now. I understand that her ex husband was abusive and put her through a lot of hell. In addition most guys were jerks to her. She says I'm very different than any guy she has ever met. We are best friends but sometimes I feel she doesn't tell me things just for the sake of our marriage. I told her to keep everything open and that it would be best to tell me than to have th past unexpectanly run in my face. So I do not know but i wonder. Most women say that they do not have to kiss a woman to find that out.

Okay my best bud and I have known each other and been hanging out together since we were in second grade. A few months ago he told me he was gay and I'm totally cool with it. But lately he's been kind of patting me on the butt in a friendly way. I don't know if it means anything or what, but it weirds me out a little. I don't want him to think I hate him or anything, because I don't, but I guess I'm scared he might start putting the moves on me eventually or something. What should I do?

Okay, I don't want to hear boo's about this question but why do all closet gay men get married to big fat women or date big fat women? If you think about it you will see I am right.

I come from a Mormon family (very strict, if you get what a Mormon is) but my mom says she'd be ok if her kid came out bi/gay. However, before she has said she was ok with stuff like marijuana, and then wanted to take out my lungs with a spoon when I actually tried it. So, should I come out as Bi to my mom, or keep it from her at risk of the previous threat?

How can a man look at another man and think "Sexy", and then look at a woman the next day and say "Sexy"? Isn't it like if you're straight---you don't just suddenly go gay? Isn't it a long, difficult decision?????
What is the world COMING to?!?!?!?

People wish to ban same-sex unions because it threatens the sanctity of what marriage was meant to be. Based on that, I believe that if we ban same-sex marriage, we should also ban marriage for the following people:

-Those who have previously been divorced due to adultery on their part.
-Those who have had convictions of rape, violent assault against a spouse or significant other, and sexual abuse.

These things also threaten the sanctity of marriage. What are your thoughts?

It almost sounds like they are saying "bad," or "ugly," or at the very least "something I don't like," but why "gay?" I mean, that word has been accepted to be a mark of pride for homosexuals. Why use it for something like the color of a shirt or the style of a pair of sunglasses? Are they saying gay people should be ghetto-ized by the way they look, and everyone who uses any one of these articles of clothing (or listens to this musician, etc.) is gay?

What's going on here?

last year i decided to date a really good friend of mine, "Michelle" (who had just recently broke up with my best friend "Sue" - god i hate lesbians!! ha) anyway, i dated her and realized how hurt "Sue" was so i broke up "Michelle" soon after (mostly because of Sue's feelings...) however, it's been quite some time and "Michelle" has made it very clear that she still loves me...and i can't deny that i don' thave feelings for her too - but what keep's me from going back to her is how much it would hurt "Sue" again... Is this the correct reason not to be with "Michelle" again? Am i doing what is in my best interest?

(i know it's confusing...but it's real...welcome to the world of lesbianism!!!)
